I enjoyed it.... But the empoyees do not like you to use coupons.

I have an Entertainment Book (New Orleans version) and this is listed in the 2014 /2015 version; When we tried to use this coupon, it seems like the employees & the manager were offended or upset. I have the app on my phone; they took my phone away from the table and to the manager to approve (I... read more

I am a frequent customer!! I enjoy the variety and consistency of dishes offered. Especially fond of the chicken veggie soup, steamed veggies, chicken fajita meat and cheese enchiladas. Good creamy beans and BBQ chicken. My friend likes the fresh salad and ice cream desert. Wait staff is friendly, professional and keeps the buffet & place clean. No matter when... More

I had heard from some guys at work that this establishment was worthy of trying. I was not let down. Fresh food, very clean, and friendly service I couldn't ask for much more. They had a really good variety of food to choose from. We ate there for lunch and plan on going back for dinner very soon. Try it... More

I've been a regular customer at El Magey for over 4 years and have never been disappointed with the food or service. Everything is GREAT! Home cooked food is always fresh and tasty, selection is great and I always leave satisfied. Try the Chile Rellenos and Pork Fajitas.

My 6 year old loves it because he can make his own taco salad, and because they have ice cream and fresh hot sopapillas for dessert. My 10 year old loves the chimichungas. I've tried almost everything on the menu, and it all tastes great. My favorite - I don't even know what it is - it's got pork, onions,... More

After mass, my middle daughter offered to treat us all to lunch at a restaurant. She wanted something reasonably close and inexpensive. El Magey was a good fit. The food was reasonable and good tasting. The buffet selection was really quite good. Flautas, chimichunga, beef, chicken and cheese enchiladas, bbq chicken, grilled steak, pork, and chicken, the usual rice and... More

I've been meaning to go to this place for a long time. I've always heard it was good. We went on a Saturday at around 1:30. I thought it might be too late, but the place was full. The food was excellent. It was all hot, which is not always the case at buffets. There was a great selection of... More

The buffet is their big selling point, but like all buffets, once you've been a few times, you've eaten it all. The menu, on the other hand, is far superior -- and they serve freshly-made pupusas.

Look..okay..the rating options don't give you much choice between average and very good and I don't mean to dismiss this friendly and cosy little establishment as just average. However I will say that if you want something non buffet then order off the menu..it's better. If you sometimes prefer to eat out at a quiet and non pretentious chain restaurant... More

It's a smallish buffet, but the variety is good. You can also ask for totillas and chips and salsa. They also have a few flavors of ice cream, which is nice. The service is pretty good, and the people are nice. Mostly, it's clean. Overall, good Mexican restaurant.
