My lunch experience at Bistro Byronz on Government Street was awesome. Our happy hour experience was also very good. The home made chips with blue cheese are exceptional. Service as always great. However, just went there last night during restaurant week, no less. I expected a sumptuous experience. The drinks, the waiter and the chips with blue cheese did not... More

My husband and two lil ones ( 4 and 2) with my bother in law just had a Sunday brunch. The two lil ones had a grilled chicken with frites (thinly cut fries) and my son Mac and cheese that used penne pasta. My husband had the poisson (fish) with frites. Couldn't determine what kind of white fish it was...if... More

I attended a bridesmaids luncheon at this venue. The space provided was adequate for five tables of four or five diners, along with a tiny side alcove for serving mimosas and dessert. I chose the shrimp and grits, from the three entrees offered, and was very pleased. The flavors were very well balanced and the portion size was more than... More

Drove by and found this bistro on government street. We loved the food, menu, and atmosphere. A good menu with a variety of items to choose from. We will be coming back to try more.

Go to the Government location. They just opened a new one on Perkins and the food isn't nearly as good. It's expensive but they have a good happy hour and great appetizers. Cute atmosphere and great service!

A little off the beaten path for Baton Rouge but it's always good! Menu can be a bit pricey but the pot roast is awesome and the potato chips with blue cheese (once you get past how it sounds) will pleasantly surprise you. Pretty small restaurant and it can get loud inside but there's an awesome patio area if the... More

Have had a few good meals here but just discovered their happy hour specials. Can't beat $2 wine and $3 small bites. Menu limited but can't beat the price. Spent a very pleasant hour on their side porch; great atmosphere and good service. Happy hour ends @ 6pm so you do have the eat early. Will definitely be back.

This is casual but upscale setting. It used to be an older home and has nice touches and wooden floors. Very mixed clientele, from casual to elegant. Service was awesome. Prices very reasonable both for food and drinks. I had a roast beef sandwich, was delicious. Could have used a bit more horseradish sauce, I'm sure they would provide it... More

We stopped in by the looks from the street and feel like we found a diamond in the rough! Of course, now we realize it's a highly rated restaurant. Lunch specials were reasonably priced and scruptious: humus appetizer, shrimp & grits and pot roast ... all with a pleasant Cajun flare! We'll be back!
