This place serves alot of fried food, so I'd expect some grease, but whenever your food is absolutley soaked in it and that's all you taste, even the low cost of food can't make up for that. Good bar and friendly staff, though.

Under I-10 sits an old brick building with basically no windows but serving delicious Cajun dishes. Walk in and write you own order on a ticket at the counter with your name at the top and they will call your name when the food is ready. Great value and huge portions!

If you want an original atmosphere burger dive, this is your place! It is tucked away under the I-10 intersate overpass of Perkins Road. The place has a real college feel. The food is always fresh and wonderfully prepared. It is a good value, not that big but no reservations and typically no wait needed.

Not fancy, not a hole in the wall either.. Great place to get almost anything you like.. they run specials each day along with great everyday meals. Food was awesome. Great place to meet friends for lunch, drinks etc. Great staff!

Just a 'hood' bar that serves up some great food. Unique - u write your own order, put your name on top, they cook it, yell your name and you go get it. Nothing fancy, just good food at a reasonable price. Great little hole in the wall!

While i know it is supposed to add to the 'dive ambience', the dusty dollar bills hanging from the ceiling i find rather gross. Thanks to George's, I no longer enjoy poboys from anywhere outside this establishment. I refused to leave Baton Rouge without stopping here first. The poboys are HUGE, so they usually last me two meals, back to back. I always order mine with remoulade.
