I broke up a 12-day gastro-vacation to New Orleans a road trip up to Baton Rouge and Lafayette. I researched Juban's - if you only have one opportunity to dine in Baton Rouge, then Juban's should be your choice. If you like cooked oysters but are frustrated by the shell size limiting the amount of stuffing you get then the... More

Greeeaaattt! Just like Tony the tiger says. This place is fantastic. Has the atmosphere of New Orleans but a lot closer. Cajun food was very tasty, prices are reasonable. Sunday brunch is all you can drink champagne, mimosa, and Bellini. Service was impeccable.

Great service, great atmosphere and classic creole cuisine with a twist. Absolutely recommended if you are in the Baton Rouge area. Famous for their soft shell crab presentation known as the "hallelujah crab"

We had a wonderful business meal at Jubans's. The meal is balanced with a wide selection for all palates though seafood has slightly more joined. A nice variety of scotch or other drinks to start the meal and a good wine list for the meal.. We had a variety of dishes for dinner including the oyster carousel, shrimp remoulade, redfish,... More

No disappointments here, the filet and crab cake are still mouth-watering. Large groups can be accommodated easily in private rooms. Delicious food and great service.

Juban's was pretty busy for a Monday night at 5:30pm. The food was delicious- my appetizer of three oysters was incredible. I had crab cakes for my entree- they were "pretty good". I still stand by my assertion that Alexander's has the best crab cakes in all of Baton Rouge!! Juban's has a decent wine list- good variety. Will definitely... More

Decided to try this restaurant after hearing great reviews but came away feeling disappointed. Food was good but not great. We actually went there to eat in the bar area; tables there were empty but we were told they were all reserved (bar area has a menu only available at the bar). The main dining room was full and very loud;... We went here for brunch recently and were very impressed. The meal started with some highly addictive sweet potato chips with icing sugar. They offered us a second basket which we had to decline for fear of filling up before our meal. We both had an entree so were give a nice warm biscuit and house salad to start. Both... More

Lots of blue haired ladies and lots of good food too. Great seafood gumbo and a soft shell crab club sandwich. The waiters are real gentlemen, our waiter Maryland was great and offered tips on all the right food. Apparently their bread pudding is great but I didn't have room.
