Amazing

Ate at Poor Boy Lloyds the night before Louisiana marathon. Best roast beef ever. Tender and full of flavor. Didnt give 5 stars because they had run out of french bread, so had to have open face sandy. But, was still incredible. Highly recommend.

We went to this restaurant the day of a parade downtown, so it was very crowded. I ordered the Coconut Shrimp which was good and very hot. My husband ordered the Chicken Strips with fries, the chicken was cold on the inside, very disappointing. I kind of chalked it up to the fact that they were so busy that they... More

Don't waste your time with this one. There were 7 of us and they messed up 4 of the orders. Mine was supposed to be a roast beef sandwich with gravy and it came out with bread and roast beef nothing else. I asked about it and she said she would bring me gravy but 10 minutes passed and no... More

The local cuisine was delicious and the southern hospitality was very evident as we spent a good while chatting with the owner about everything from food to sports. Great place for lunch!

We enjoyed Poor Boy Lloyd's very much. We had super here on Saturday evening prior to Louisiana Marathon. It was close to our hotel on a rainy evening. Great surprise! The service was quick and friendly. The Alligator sausage poorboy was delicious. My husbands fried platter was also great! We are planning to go back next time we are in... More

I found this place per reviews looking for something close to the USS Kidd for an overnight campout. The reviews were very favorable so figured we were in for a treat but wasn't impressed at all. There may have been 5 other tables with patrons there and not too many coming in following but it took well over 35 minutes... More

Well it is not fancy, Looks like it hasn't changed since it opened Located one block from the Mississippi. Come in, read all the signs and the dry erase board and the laminated menus. Order at the counter in the back. Take a number sign, find your table and they will bring you your order. Pay at the front on... More

When you see a lots of police officers leaving the restaurant with their lunch bags, you know that is the right place for the lunch. The fish was perfect and the place is "nice", it serms to be home!

This was walking distance from our hotel, so we stopped in to get lunch and weren't disappointed!!!! We had poboys and my youngest had chicken tenders. The bread that the poboy's was on was AMAZING perfect!! Poboy's were overflowing with meat and french fries were great too. Would eat there again without question!!!!!
