Not busy when we arrived...quaint, quiet spot, friendly staff. Ordered fish, shrimp and oysters - good food! Owner took the time to check on us and chatted a bit...made us feel welcome! Close walk to MS River and USS Kidd - walk off the fried food! ;)

We ate here for breakfast and lunch one day. Good food, friendly staff. Owner(?) was very helpful providing info for sites to see in the area. Restaurant decor is outdated, but food is good. They offer some unique meats on their menu (alligator or smoked deer meat po-boy)

This was by far the best oyster po' poy I've ever had. I will be back again soon. The staff was excellent as well, and there was live music. An authentic Louisiana experience for sure. Don't pass this place up.

We stopped here on a Monday on our way out of town at about 3:00 pm. because of all the good reviews and write ups on this place in the local magazines. But we were not impressed with any aspect of this horrible, dirty little dive. The fish plate was a spongy, fishy tasting catfish with a greyish look to... More

Wonderful shrimp po' boy. Friendly staff. Great value. Nearby the Mardi Gras parade route and close by several hotels. Highly recommend for authentic flavor!

Kind of an old place, but very well maintained. If you order a roast beef poor boy, be prepared to use lots of napkins. The sloppier the better. They are delicious!

This restaurant was across the street from the Hotel I was staying at (Hilton Baton Rouge Capital Center) and I eyed it several times. I've been to New Orleans once and was anxious to try another Po Boy! During the week they are only open until 3pm, so I managed to get over there for lunch one day. I was... More

My choice was a poor boy with shrimp. Bread was fresh. Super place for lunch with local flavor. I felt like I might have been the only customer not from Baton Rouge.

not our first trip to Lloyds. the owner at the register is my favorite thing about Lloyd's. it has a diner atmosphere thats un-pretentious and members of the staff treat you like family. never go to Baton Rouge without going to Lloyds
