Nino's is the type of restaurant you would expect in NYC or San Francisco but not Baton Rouge. They have taken Italian as a base and then applied local source ingredients, house made sauces and pasta, and a lot of creativity to create something special. We started with the Crab Cakes which were mostly crab and then the goat cheese... More

I have eaten at Nino's several times and have never been disappointed. Every time I have brought guests they have raved about the food.

The cioppino is a variant on the San Francisco style but a surprisingly delectible taste. I would have preferred the excellent Louisiana oysters and shrimp as the main seafood but the mussels were tasty too. Home made spinach fettucine was delicious. Our waiter accommodated my taste for anchovy stuffed olives in my martini and the house chardonnay was delicious.

Tonight we celebrated our retirement from both careers. The setting was great at Nino's, and the meal was spectacular! Our waiter was very helpful and accomodating. We enjoyed the bruschetta with goat cheese, except one of us is not keen on goat cheese, so the staff substituted and gave each of us what we wanted. Nino's has a good wine... More

Found Nino's on the slow food website and am so glad I did. Everything is fresh and everything I've had there has been delicious. It's nice and quiet and the staff is friendly and helpful. Save room for dessert!

It's been at least three years since dining here. Was not disappointed at all! Restaurant sits about 50, along with a bar for six. For a Wednesday evening, the place was full while I was dining. Do go for the fish dishes! Melt in your mouth! Taramisue was light and tasty! Will return in the near future!

I go to this restaurant at least twice a month or more. I bring my friends and family often. The food is made fresh every day. Some of the items used are picked fresh on the property out back. Everything is good that I have ordered. It is by far one of my most favorite places to dine. I think... More

We went to Nino's for our anniversary dinner a couple of months ago. I frequent a restaurant that the young couple owns across town and am pleased with it. The sauces there are the best, so I wanted to try the couple's nicer restaurant on a special occasion. We was not disappointed. I had the house salad and crab cakes... More
