It was a wonderful place for a group of cousin's, who had not seen each other in years. We all met up at Bocage location for lunch. Of the 12 people in our party no one had a bad thing to say about the dishes they were served. The service was spot on and not one drink glass went empty... More

We have frequented this establishment for a few years. Son loved it here when we would visit him. Last outing disappointed us with the food preparation.

We have been supporting this location since it first openned. It used to be consistently Very Good to Excellent. It has been about a year since we've been back. The only question we have is 'Where did our great little restaurant go?' This vist was just awful! And we still have a coupon left that we will NOT use at... More

Dined here for the first time for brunch with friends. I ordered the eggs with Italian sausage, which was served with roasted potatoes. It was priced at $8.99. There was a generous serving of each item. The eggs (I ordered scrambled) were cooked perfectly. The only thing I found "missing" was bread of some sort (toast or biscuit). My friends... More

We have lived in Baton Rouge for 12 years and had the worst service of that time tonight at the O'Neil location. I've enjoyed the Bocage location a million times, but this was my first time at O'Neil. Considering it's New Year's Eve, we were happy to be able to get 7pm reservations. We arrived 5 mins early, but then,... More

Been to the restaurant quite a few times, have never been disappointed. The very moderate priced menu is diverse and any of the pasta dishes is recommended. Just order the ciabita bread as your appetizer($1) each & the entrees will entirely fill you. Ambiance is great & staff are more than willing to accommodate you.

Had another great meal. They have the BEST bread and dipping oil with vinegar and cheese. Then the Eggplant stack is wonderful. My husband and I had two different types of salads (sensations and apple pecan) both great. For an appetizer, we had stuffed mushrooms which were stuffed with spinach, really good. Sorry to say, no room for dessert.

When our friends decided to try Portobello's for Saturday Brunch I was not excited. The place looked like a nice chain restaurant. I usually go for the more local quaint places. But I was most pleasantly surprised. There is an excellent brunch menu available. The Bloody Mary's were pretty good also. Our server, Blake if I remember correctly, was a... More

The food was prepared and delivered at expected time. The atmosphere was very quiet and romantic. The food was seasoned and to my taste.

This seemed an ordinary Baton Rouge restaurant; not distinguished in any way. However, the food was priced like a top-notch establishment...and the quality was not notable. It was OK, but I've had meals just as good, with better service and atmosphere, at Olive Garden. Ho hum.
