This restaurant is a real gem. The ambience is best described as old fashioned Louisiana seafood. The food is awesome. We had seafood gumbo and crawfishe étouffée. Both were rich and loaded with seafood and crawfish, respectfully. For starters I had coleslaw which was wonderful and my wife had a sensation salad which was also good.

I was quickly seated. Service was good. I had the crabmeat au gratin---yummy. The hushpuppies as always were delicious---the best I have ever had. The cajun stuffed baked potato was very good. Restroom was clean.

The selection is great enjoyed the chargrilled oyster and Shrimp Nelson appetizers. The étouffée was average, nothing special. Enjoyed the fried shrimp and catfish. Stuffed crab was different, not bad.

This was a wonderful choice for us on a dance competition weekend in Baton Rouge. Attn Chico: upon dining at your restraurant the raw oysters were delicious, the shrimp cocktail was superb. However, the fried crab claws were horrible. They were old and on the verge of turning bad.
