Franks advertises the "best biscuits in Louisiana". Not hardly! Ate breakfast here and was terribly disappointed. Grits were terrible. Biscuits were sandy tasting, coffee was pitiful. I am very empathetic with wait staff, as both my kids have worked has wait staff. The folks here were obviously struggling to get the work done.

We could have had free breakfast at our hotel but this place got such rave reviews for their biscuits......NOT! First off, do NOT be in a hurry!! And they were not even that busy. After sitting while two other tables that arrived after us got their order taken, it was our turn. After watching people who arrived a good 15... More

We really wanted to like this place but we were sorely disappointed. Suffice it to say that if you want good food do not go here. "Best biscuits"? Hardly! If you want to know more of why to avoid this place, here ya go. We hoped for a good lunch place for our family. What we got was a family... More

Lots of choices on menu including adkins and vegetarian! Food was great, service was too, reasonable price just be prepared to wait for a table. Not fancy though, so if you want that, go elsewhere :)

There are 2 locations on Airline Hwy one in Baton Rouge (49 years) and one in Prairieville (10 years) La. We went for breakfast on a Saturday at the BR location. Food was ok. Went with a group of 10 so got to try a bunch of their plates. Don't think I would recommend the catfish but the mile high club sandwich was awesome. Boudin balls were some of the best I've had. The waitress was really friendly and knew how to do get job well. The cooks weren't the best... More

We ate here before going to the airport and we liked everything we ordered. The prices were a little high, but you were given very large portions. They claim to make the best biscuits and it could very well be true.

When traveling in or through Baton Rouge, LA we always try to eat breakfast at Frank's. Generous portions at reasonable prices. Great biscuits and sausage gravy as well as corn beef hash. French toast variety.

Well - I didn't eat everything, but since that's their motto and I couldn't find anything that wasn't good - I'll go with that. We ate at the Baton Rouge location (not Prairieview), and the BarBQ meat plate was awesome. The ribs were especially good, as was the brisket. The coleslaw was just like I liked it - juicy. The...
