Must Eat Every Visit

Every time we go to visit the in-laws this is a must for breakfast! My last trip we went twice. Their biscuits are truly the best EVER and ever means as good as or possibly even better than my late great grandmothers. The only thing that I have had that I have not cared for there is the sausage... read more

But enjoyed my first Po Boy nonetheless. Had the spicy sausage Po Boy sandwich and it was very good. Very diner-esque, but clean and friendly service.

Went for breakfast with new friends. It was an authentic Louisiana experience. I had the Eggs Benedict. Oh how good this was. I wanted to go back again but it did not work out. I will get there again. You can try alligator sausage too.

We had a delicious breakfast that included huge fluffy biscuits. They smoke all the meats on premise and I totally suggest trying the alligator sausage. Great way to start the day

We ordered fried turkeys, smoked ham and a complete Thanksgiving Dinner. Fried turkeys tasted like old oil and was so spicy, you could not taste the turkey. The ham was not pink, it was brown and lost it flavor due to bring dried out. We could not taste the smoke ham flavor but just tasted clove or all spice flavor.... More

Went there for breakfast with a group. We did make reservations. This place is always busy and there is always a wait, but worth it. People park everywhere. The portions are good size and everything has good flavor. There is a smoke house next door that is part of Franks and my wifes family said that is also very good.... More

I ate here twice on a recent business trip. Both times I had a great experience. I had breakfast both times. The first time I had the gator tail sausage and eggs. The second time was bacon and eggs. I highly recommend trying the gator tail sausage. The biscuits are great too. Ask to get your biscuits grilled for a... More

Stopped in to try breakfast on our way through Baton Rouge. About a 30 minute wait but once we were seated the service and good delivery were quick. Biscuits are excellent, biscuits and gravy, spicy sausage, grits and bacon were all excellent. Coffee was hot and the waitress consistently kept it refilled. Service was great. Very friendly. We asked for... More
