Surprised

I was taken there for a quick lunch with a friend. From the outside it didn't look like much, until I walked inside and got my food. It was relish and exactly what I hoped for.

My friend from Baton Rouge took our group of 5 guys here for a "taste" of southern seafood. The place was packed so we waited in the bar area and watched oysters being shucked. The guy offered us a couple to try and they were really good. He said we needed to try their charbroiled oysters, which I hadn't heard... More

Fried alligator, boiled crawfish.......they have some wonderful specialty meals as well. All of their oyster styles are wonderful as well. We always try to mix it up and get them all.

100 times better than dons seafood with service and food. Nothing to compare to dons seafood. Platter we got was full of wonderful seafood rich with herbs, spices and magic touch of their chef abd cooker. Waiters are cover each other without saying or looking this is not table I don't care. They are very polite, energetic and smiling all... More

Great food in a great setting. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The shrimp 7 ways was fantastic. Others at our table had crawfish 7 ways and they offered crab 7 ways. I wished we stay a little longer in Baton Rouge just to try everything on the menu!

Mike Anderson's is a favorite with the LSU crowd. Lots of fried fish. Their chargrilled oysters are special.

There were eight of us in a group. When we arrived, we were told that we had to wait 20 minutes. I pointed to a large empty table nearby and was asked, "Would you mind eating in the bar?" That is where we comfortably had an excellent dinner. It wasn't dark or anything that I would associate with a bar.

This was recommended by the driver at our hotel so we took the entire board. Great selection of drinks and food. Most of us ordered seafood and it tasted amazing. Tasty crab and oysters!

I've eaten here twice for dinner and honestly don't see what the fuss is about. The last time I was there, with 5 in our party, the service was only OK and our food was....mediocre. We all ordered different meals and none of us were really enthusiastic, and this included three college-aged guys who were hungry and probably not connoisseurs.... More
