This place is like the original old time pizza resturants when growing up.

This is a very unique place. Not your gourmet pizza, just simple, tasty. And old fashion. Nothing fancy, old juke box, (I give my first time friends a dollar to see what records they pic.). Around the world is my favorite. Serves beer in little juice glasses. first come, first serve. We'll... read more

Hands down, this is the best pizza in Baton Rouge. It is unique and delicious! Make sure to come early to get one of the few tables and have cash on hand. We generally order ahead to reduce the wait time and bring home a "half baked" pizza for another day of delicious pizza. My kids love the real glass... More

Road trip through Baton Rouge, and after already traveling 1500 miles, we had a craving for some good pizza. Wife was convinced we would not find it. Took a leap of faith based on other review sites. I love finding local dives, and boy this one fit the bill! A place you would never enter just by driving by. Middle... More

Our favorite hangout! Love Ian the bartender! He is on the ball! He greets you as SOON as you sit down! Friendly, hardworking, and always knows when the drink is getting low!

This is not pizza. And is especially not "Roman-style". If you were a fan of chef-boy-r-dee pizza from a box (you make it yourself) than this is your joint. Nothing fresh about it. Soggy "crust" baked in a cookie sheet with canned tomato sauce and, I don't know, Kraft provolone cheese. The exterior is charming, inside it is someone'e club basement.... More

Ate here for dinner on 7-29-14. Inattentive service. Bottled root beer (Barq's) that I ordered was almost flat so sent it back saying water would do. Got another flat root beer instead. Had to keep asking for grated cheese. Won't seek to avoid but won't seek it out again either.

My husband and I visited this historic-iconic restaurant on a Saturday afternoon. This establishment is magical as it sends you into another world of history. I couldn't help but wonder of all the important meetings and words that were discussed between these walls. We ordered an Round-The-World Pizza PIe (with no anchovies) for $13.00 and soft drinks for $1.00 a... More

Fleur de lis may be called a 'hole in the wall". But their Pizzas are great! I like a thin crust pizza and they have mastered a thin, not greasy pizza. Any pizza I have had there , has been delicious! Everyone should try their pizzas at least once. Chicago pizzas have nothing on this place.

Or so we were told. Although by day the exterior is fetchingly retro and oddly pink, by night the half-lit neon gave it an eerie alkie bar horror movie vibe and I probably wouldn't have ventured in had it not been recommended by locals. Once in, you can see that nothing has been added since the place was originally built... More
