One of the best places for lunch in Baton Rouge

The Coursey location is much preferred over the LSU location (unless you're looking for the college vibe). Wonderful beer list. You can't go wrong with the menu. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. I recommend you go and try one of the specials.

Spring rolls were quite good. Ettoufee was a little blond for my taste (not the dark spice variety). Crab fingers were excellent. Rolls were quite good and effective at picking up all the sauces. Seafood gumbo was tasty. Red beans and rice were pretty good.

Hubby and I split Boudin balls, oysters, a shrimp po boy, and pecan praline bread pudding. Holy moly, it was delicious! They were packed and were still able to deliver our food in a short amount of time. We were very impressed!

Air conditioning was not working so imagine a restaurant FULL of people eating on a hot and humid summer night in Baton Rouge. Only one word can describe this dining experience: MISERABLE! They told us the air was out in the foyer but that the dining room was cooler. That was not true. I couldn't help but imagine how hot... More

Great place located right off LSU campus. Some of the best red beans and rice ever. Great festive atmosphere and awesome service.

Convenient to LSU right outside the north gate of the campus, this well-known restaurant has good food and affordable prices. I had a hamburger which was very good. A great place for students and visiting parents.

I hadn't eaten here in years and was not disappointed. The artichoke and spinach dip is excellent with homemade croutons, good red beans and rice and excellent wings. Waitress recommended "party" flavored wings which is BBQ and buffalo sauce mixed. Excellent blend of two flavors. Restaurant on busy corner but large free parking located at back of building.

This restaurant has a local vibe with great local food. If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere with really tasty local dishes, this is it. We eat here regularly and have never had a bad meal. My only complaint - paid in cash and they arbitrarily kept my change. Whether or not I want my coins should be my... More

We brought friends from Massachusetts...they loved the food! Located close to LSU, this restaurant is a must if you are visiting Baton Rouge. The food is very good and if you like beer..well there is plenty to choose from
