A quick business lunch. Good food, attentive service, reasonable prices. Great french fries too. A nice menu with plenty of choices, full bar, and great service. Seemed as if all the staff visited to insure we were happy, and it was a mid priced lunch. I will good back and recommend it.

Tasty food for a reasonable amount of money. Cheeses-ticks are delicious. Everything on the menu is tasty and well prepared. Staff and service excellent. Location is great near LSU campus. Eat often before LSU games.

We were only going to be in Baton Rouge for one night and wanted to visit LSU and see Tiger Stadium. Our research told us that Chimes was right outside the main gate to LSU so we went off for a casual dinner at Chimes. I am so glad we did -- it was all it was promised to me.... More

This eatery is adjacent to the LSU campus and was noisy and packed on the night we ate there. Lots of TVs tuned to a basketball game. I had the gumbo and salad, which were just ok. I've had many, many gumbos and salads better than these ones. My friends had some fried oysters, sweet potato fries, and a burger,... More

My husband ordered his favorite, the boudin omelet. I tried the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp in Tasso Sauce with a Fried Grits Cake. One bite and I felt I had died and gone to heaven. My husband tried it and said it was much better than his omelet. In fact, he helped me finish it. Everything about it was fabulous,... More

Try their soup, any kind, but especially the creole crawfish if its available that day! Lots of Southern specialties, but plenty of healthy choices as well.

Had to try a bastion of Cajun cuisine while in LA. While Chimes was good it came up short in some regards. Most importantly was the lack of more variety of Cajun choices on the menu. I mean, how does any restaurant in LA not offer jambalaya!? At least I was able to score another favorite, red beans and rice.... More
