If you like good food, you'll like this place. If you like good beer, you'll love this place. Their selection is really good for every kind of beer drinker. I am personally partial to Belgians and Germans and they had a lot of my favorites on tap. According to our waitress last night, their beer menu is transitioning to digital... More

Great standard American food and Louisiana Seafood. They have a great Sunday Brunch. It is casual, family oriented, and noisy. There is always a crowd, but you don't have to wait but a few minutes usually

I ate here with two friends after we all ran the Louisiana marathon. It was a fun, casual environment located right next to the LSU campus. The menu is a nice mix of burgers, po' boys and grilled items. Everything was well cooked, tasty and arrived promptly. The atmosphere was nice too - casual and fun without being horribly loud... When in Baton Rouge have to check out The Chimes - Fantastic atmosphere as this is a College town - had the Duck and Sausage Gumbo and the Seafood Gumbo - since they offer a smaller version I got both! out of this world good! Fun place with great staff and food!

My wife and I visit family several times a year in Baton Rouge. Whenever my brothers and I get together, we head to the Chimes, where we've gone for years. I have to admit, it's a bit noisy, almost grubby on the inside, and parking can be hard to come by, but we have great memories of ice-cold beer, great... More

First of all.. the beer selection is ridiculous... over 50 on top and I believe 100 in bottles and cans. It is a great older feel place, it will not knock you out with the decor but will win you with the charm and the food. I absolutely LOVED the oysters, some of the best I ever had and the... More

Lots of options on this menu. The blackened alligator appetizer was my favorite. The seasoning was great. The roast beef po-boy had great flavor but was so messy it became a knife and fork entree.

A few steps from Tiger Stadium, good food, I loved the blackened Alligator and the humongous Onion rings, nice choice of beers. Not only for students.

A MUST when in Baton Rouge. If a Sunday, I recommend their brunch. A beer lovers delight with almost any kind of beer you want.

The food is very good and priced well, but the noise almost makes it unbearable. Usually crowded so plan on a wait and they don't take reservations.
