Also a good bet for Mexican food

They are top rated and deserve it. Even the chips and salsa are outstanding. I also get the quesadillas which are very cheesy.

I'm being nice when I say this place is bad. Baton Rouge has plenty of mexican restaurants, and I'm genuinely baffled at how this place stays in business. Apparently they have some great drink specials- so maybe that's how- but the food is bad and the service is bad.

On my last visit it was horrible service. We got seated to our table quickly but it took forever for the server to come around. When she did she seemed like we were bothering her. We ordered our food and appetizer at the same time our food came out but never our appetizer, cheese dip when it finally did come... More

This is a good place for the non-discriminating diner of Mexican foods. Baton Rouge is sadly lacking of good restaurants serving typical 'south of the border" cuisine.

My wife and I went here after a show downtown. First off, we noticed that the Margaritas were extremely sour. No good Mixologist should make one this sour. Its not good for your stomach. They brought out chips and salsa, and the red and green were both different than we have ever seen. They also brought out hot pickled veggies,... More

Crowded, overpriced, and the food and drinks were not very good to say the least. The drinks were overpriced, the food was bland and the serving size was very small. I'm finding out that Louisiana's Mexican restaurants are not even close to those in Georgia. Some of the reviews that state this is some of the best Mexican food the... More

The restaurant is near the crowne plaza. The service is fast. The food is good. Prices reasonable. If you like Mexican food this place is for you.

My husband and I were given a $50 gift card to Ninfa's. We tried to go on a Friday night but the place was packed with a one hour wait for two people. We went the next day (a Saturday at noon). We were put at a table by the bar and the table beside us was occupied by a... More

We were in a hurry so ate at the bar. We had absolutely perfect service....quick and great food. Bartender was conscious of our need for speed.

Granted, I was there late in the afternoon when the restaurant was not crowded, but the service at the bar was excellent. The staff was very friendly. Great happy hour .... margaritas were top notch. The menu is a little more "upscale" than most Mexican restaurants (as are the prices), but the food is excellent and well worth the dollars.
