Definitely a place you must visit in Baton Rouge. Home of Louisiana products, Tony's has evolved tremendously. I recall coming here as a kid and my has it changed over 30 years. Its a seafood powerhouse.

We loved this place. It was a buffet and there was no seating, take out only. We took it back to the hotel and pigged out. When we travel we like to look up local restaurants and this was a great find. We had catfish, shrimp, hamburger steak and fried chicken. All was great and I wish we had this... More

I love Tony's boudin balls. Whenever I visit Baton Rouge I come here and order all 3 types by the dozens. The other hot food offered is also very good, from the jambalaya to the fried crab claws. Yum!

We passed this location on the way to the hotel and got a pound of hot and ready shrimp and butter. They were so good we went back the next day and got shrimp and crawfish to take home. They have coolers and ice/ice packs available. You gotta stop by it is great and a good value!

This place is a Gold Mine!!!!! Boudin balls is a must. I messed up - I only got four cooked for the ROAD. I wanted to turn around and go get more. But lucky for me I purchased a bag to cook at home. Oooook this place has cooked plates and frozen items. They have baked fish, fried fish, BBQ,... More

Tony's is a carry out restaurant with the best seafood dishes ever. They also have other cooked foods at their deli that are awesome, real downhome cooking including Cajun. They have a fresh seafood market if you want to take it home and cook. Often times we use their catering service as they can handle large orders for parties. I... More

The food was pretty good. Our favorite was the cajun boudin balls! The crawfish balls were a little to "fishy" for my taste, but that is totally a personal prefrence. The fried shrimp was good. The fried chicken was pretty dry. Everyone in our party of six agreed that the mac n cheese was not very good at all. Even... More

Thanks to tripadvisors' comments, we went to Tony's Seafood market when we went to Baton Rouge last wekeend, and we loved it. We're from Michigan. The boiled crawfish was excellent, the corn was super sweet, the boiled Shrimp was tasty but a little bit overcooked. The crawfish etouffee and the fried okra were excellent. Lots of crawfish in that etouffee,... More

My husband loves seafood & we stopped here on our way to New Orleans for lunch. He raved about the crawfish tart/pie & said the gumbo was better than his own! I will warn that most of the prepared food in the deli is fried. If you eat "clean" or skip gluten, this might not be the place for you.... More

There's no where to sit down and eat, but nobody cares because the food is king. #1 in boiled crawfish, boiled shrimp and boiled crabs. The cooked food buffet offerings are insanely good and as far as price---best food value in Baton Rouge. Hot sausage poboy, red beans and rice. and crawfish boudin are among my favorites. We make an... More
