Good Tex-Mex

Great location just off the interstate. Relaxed atmosphere and good food! Met for business and the staff allowed us all the time we needed for our meeting. Coyote Blues has the normal Mexican fare but with several different options to spice things up.

Went here with a group of friends. Casual with great wait service for a large group. Did not feel like a large meal so I had the Fiesta salad with the appetizer crab cakes. The crab cakes were fine nothing spectacular and came with a sweet mango type sauce. The salad was spinach, roasted pecans , cherry tomatoes and I... More

Horrible beyond words and HIDEOUSLY OVERPRICED. My pork "osso buco" had been cooked AT LEAST 2 days before it was served to me and was still cold in the middle as were my mashed potatoes and my MIL's cheese grits. The server was wonderful but then they brought me a "new" one that was the same one and told me... More

LOTS of good choices on their menu, amazing Caesar salad, BEST fajitas I've ever eaten, green salsa is delicious!!!! Not many places can a couple eat for less than $25, tax & tip included.

Unique twist on Mexican food, not the same ole standard Tex Mex. Food and service is consistently good. A little pricey depending on what you order. They make a decent margarita and their queso dip is awesome! I personally think the El Coyote is one of the best things on the menu. It's a great opportunity to sample several menu... More

I’m from Austin, the home of great Tex-Mex food. I normally avoid any Tex-Mex restaurants outside of Texas because I’m usually disappointed. My niece who was graduating from LSU chose Coyote Blues for lunch on Thursday May 14. We (6 of us) started off with chips and salsa to graze on while we reviewed the menu. The salsa was really... I put the word Mexican in quotes above because Coyote Blues takes an interesting and unique approach to standard Mexican or Tex-Mex fare: They put a Louisiana spin on it! I've tried a variety of entrees, all tasty and fresh. But the home run for me was the Shrimp and Crawfish Chimichanga. All I can say is WOW. Stunningly delicious.... More

Stopped in to eat here after leaving New Orleans. Eric, our waiter, gave the best service we've ever had in any restaurant. He was attentive, polite, and extremely helpful. We were given drinks to go in addition to prepared fixings for the chicken fajitas to avoid a mess. Will go back because of him and the good food!

My husband and I tried CB for the first time yesterday. The restauraunt is very spacious and the overall atmosphere seemed nice. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. Our food, however, was just kinda middle of the road. The reason I say this is because the presentation was nice, but it didn't help bc my meal was cold. I... More
