Positively delicious!

We went here for lunch and had a great meal. I had the rotisserie chicken with a garlic and herb rub - truly wonderful! It was moist, tender, and flavorful. My husband had the Thai ribs and they too were outstanding! The sides were also terrific. Wait staff were friendly and service was timely. A... read more

Based upon reviews, I was expecting a more refined dinner. The food was good, portions large, and service quite nice. But the selections were in line with a chain restaurant, and the food tasted comparable. However, I can not really pick on the value.

Daily specials are wonderful! Monday is Pork Roast with rosemary garlic glace. It was cooked to perfection. The Korean Beef tacos were tasty as well. No room for desert. Can't wait to go back to Baton Rouge so I can eat here again.

Duck n grits are pretty good. The "famous" Zea salad with the pepper jelly dressing is a lot about greens and sweet dressing. They've modified their spices and added more cumin than they used to have, perhaps to accommodate the current mexican spice craze, but I think this detracts from what made it so delicious in the past. Definitely give... More

Excellent service. Entered with a party of six at 5:30 pm on a Friday. Never wanted anything before it was provided! Very nice food. Had the Greek Hummus, served with pita bread, as an appetizer for the table and it was great. For entrees we had the dry ribs, Thai ribs, wet ribs and fish tacos. Each entree was prepared... More

Tried for the first time and were keen to try some of the lite alternatives. The miso ginger shrimp was excellent. But the lite hummus came drenched in olive oil and was obviously not the dish that had been ordered.mit was swiftly replaced and the new arrival was very good in being smooth, with a good garlic flavour. Sadly, the... More

While not a typical Louisiana style restaurant, Zea's is a local restaurant chain in the state. They feature daily meat selections that are to die for. Easily one of the best restaurants in town. Their hummus, tai ribs, and duck empanadas are appetizer favorites. Their honey island chicken sandwich may be the best sandwich in the world. The corn grits... More

After being out of town for a week, eating at subpar restaurants, I asked the family to join me in dining at Zea's. I realize that you can still get delicious quality food at a local chain restaurant. I'm glad we made our reservations on Open Table for Saturday night. At 6:30PM the restaurant was already crowded. We didn't have... More

Went here with some coworkers while in Baton Rouge for work. They had several rotisseried entrees to choose from, I chose the chicken. I really enjoyed it, and my coworkers also enjoyed thier dinners. The chocolate brownie dessert was delicious! The service was very good as well.

Not your traditional but i will tell you that it is a unique presentation pungent with flavors. The chicken was intense with smokiness. Our waitress was great and gave us a long leash to conduct business. The humus on the front end was plentiful and rick with flavor. Thank you!
