YOU CANNOT FIND A BETTER SPOT FOR LUNCH

This week we decided to go for lunch. We are both convinced that you cannot find a better lunch special anywheres. Our lunch was around $8.00 for the seafood platter. The platter consisted of 3 strips of catfish, 1 stuffed shrimp, 1 stuffed crab, fries, onion rings, fried bread, salad, and a... read more

You will see several reviews by me here. About once a year I have to drive the 6+ hours to get some REAL crawfish and enjoy the music at DI's. This year, no reservations allowed. But with the music starting at 6:30 we decided to arrive about 6:15 and we were seated immediately. They have over 120 places to seat... More

Went with a group of 6 and we all ordered something different. I got a grilled plate and loved the grilled blackened oysters (very spicy, but excellent), well cooked firm fish and the shrimp were also really good. Hubby got fried frog legs, good but not well seasoned. Friends got stuffed crab and fried shrimp which they both loved. We... More

The food is always good and authentic Cajun food. Many times you have a short wait to get seated but it's certainly worth the wait. The food is fresh and the waitstaff is friendly and competent. It's a few miles off IH 10 but it's certainly worth the trip.

Unless you are looking for seafood forget this place. It's authentic Cajun but the menu is almost all seafood. I don't eat seafood so there was not much to choose. The burger was average. The music was way too loud to facilitate nice dining.

Ate here 19 years ago and a couple of time in between. Shame we were not in crawfish season but the food was still fabulous, the band great the dancing relaxed. It is a barn of a place that is very welcoming to the visitors and you get to appreciate the pucker tastes and sounds of the Cajun way of... More

The locals were right! A group of people suggested we go and we were not disappointed!!! Had the BBQ Crabs. They were out of this world. I will not forget this place and can't wait to go again. Amazing food and the staff were lots of fun too.

A little out of the way, but worth the trip. Excellent crawfish, great staff, and authentic live Cajun music with plenty of room to dance.

Food is very good. Atmosphere is casual and friendly. Take note, there is live music. Very loud live music. If your idea of a night out is a quiet evening, do not go here. If you want to hear and taste Cajun music and Cajun food, this is the place. Recommend. Warning: It is definitely out of the way.

D.I's has a history and that's why it is located basically in the middle of the crawfish and rice fields of his property. D.I. used to host community crawfish boils in his barn and that's how it grew into a restaurant. The food is excellent; the atmosphere is family-oriented and it's a good ol' place to settle in for an... More
