Having lived in Germany nine years and meeting my wife there I was glad when Caroline's opened. It started out great, nice portions, great flavor and friendly staff. The parking lot was usually full. Over the past couple of years they have tried things to bring in different diners. The lunch buffet was nice until they limited portions. I would... More

Not really what I was hoping for or expected. Menu is minimal, food was not hot enough and had little German flavor. Will not be going back.

My husband and I have had to drive through Radcliffe a lot this fall and Friday night decided to stop into Carolines. The place is large and airy and our service was excellent. We, of course, tried the German food. The Schnitzle was large and well prepared, but I didn't care for the sauce. The red cabbage and the German... More

I have just discovered i love German Food. I hadnt eaten German before and was unsure of what a "schnitzel" was. Well a schnitzel makes for a great meal. I ate a Gypsi Schnitzel with fried potatos and spatzel, which I learned where German noodles. I enjoyed two German draft beers and will return. The server told me they had... More

My husband and I went to there for dinner last night. We had potato pancake with applesauce as an appetizer and Schnitzel as entree. The food was very authentic and was fresh and tasty. The restaurant has a great verity of German beer. Our waitress Jessica was fast and super friendly. She came to our several times to check if... More

Large group of twenty-four traveled quite a distance. We had reservations for Friday night @ 5 p.m. Service was possibly the worst I've ever experienced. One side of our table was completely finished eating before the other side even received their orders. Food was mediocre at best and I would not visit again.

Visited for lunch and found there is no longer a buffet but a good lunch menu. Three of us ordered the Snitzel sandwich- home fries lunch which is offered at a fair price. It comes served on GREAT rye bread and delicious home fries. We only wished the gravy was homemade rather than out of a can or jar....that was... More

Very Good German Food. They had good décor and many authentic German dishes to choose from. Also, they had a lot of German beer choices on tap.

Excited to eat here and most of the food was pretty good. There were 4 of us and we ordered a preztel with beer cheese. It was huge!!! The size of a large pizza and at least 2 inches thick and it was delicious. I got Alpine Schnitzel and it was just okay. The only complaint I have is that... More
