Great downtown restaurant!

Great cheeseburger! Had it with sweet potato fries. Fries are best if they're really crispy. Occasionally, some are soggy, but good for the most part. Have also had steak and salmon and was pleased with those entrees as well.

My friend and I visited this restaurant, after we toured the Hartfield & Co Distillery. We had a great waitress. She suggested the Salmon plate to my friend. And she thought it was just perfect. I had decided on the Hamburger. I feel like there was something wrong with the meat. Don't recommend getting that.

My son and I had a very pleasant and delicious Thanksgiving dinner. This was my first experience having Thanksgiving in a restaurant. The food was normal, mostly like the kind I would make at home. There was plenty. The service was good and there were no long lines.

I ate at Clay's twice during the last week of October 2015. During both visits the food was very good and the service was friendly and prompt. I had sirloin on one occasion and filet on my second visit. The sirloin was perfect, but the filet was undercooked. It was still very good and I would recommend anyone to give... More

My husband and I attended the thoroughbred makeover project in October and were anxious to eat here as we did 2 years ago. We were there for an early dinner and both the chef and server greeted us and told us about the specials for the evening. We had ribeye steaks and though thin, they were rare, juicy and tender.... In town visiting friends and they took us to Clay's on Oct. 29. They frequent when they are in town and have come to know the owners very well. Family owned, met owners Frank and Elizabeth Clay. Elizabeth is the chef. Being there for the Breeders' Cup, I needed a Mint Julep - where else other than in Lexington area!... More

This was our 2nd visit to this comfortable, casual little restaurant in Paris KY, which we pass through a couple times a year going to our timeshare in Fairfield Glade TN. Both times we thoroughly enjoyed this place. Began lunch with delish French onion soup ($5)! Absolutely loaded to the bottom of the bowl with onion, and a toasted rye... More

Had the crab cakes and the beer cheese apps and they both were amazing. The chicken Alfredo I ordered was fantastic. Service was great!

A very nice, quaint place with a great menu selection, a little bit of something for every palate. Everyone is friendly, chef came over to personally check on our meal. The food was excellent and plentiful. Nice wine menu also. Would definitely return.
