Terrible service here. Waitress was clueless about the menu. She brought out food and never came back to check on us. Empty water glasses the whole time. Food is pretty awful if you think it's good you need to get out of Paducah. Outdoor area is pretty on a nice night though.

Heard a lot of good about Max's Brick Oven and finally gave it a try. None of the recommendations were wrong. Great food, very good service and fair prices. The pizza's were larger and more filling so we had left overs (a good thing!). The house salad was tasty, but a little smaller than expected. The Sangria was good, but... More

The Brick Oven Pizza here is absolutely delicious, as is all of their food, it is located downtown, we eat there often, if your and your spouse are looking for a good place to eat this is it.

The pizza, brick oven baked of course, is outstanding. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Just a block from the river in Paducah, Ky. with lots of local shopping/antique stores nearby. Market house theater is across the street with top-notch shows throughout the year.

Paducah was a one night stopover for us, so we had one chance at a good meal. We were very glad the hotel suggested Max's. The downtown location was wonderful, the restaurant is charming with a varied menu as well as several different dining areas, suitable for whatever atmosphere you might be seeking. We sat outside under the canopy and... More

Good atmosphere. Service is good. Food selection looks good. It just falls short in the flavor field.

Great atmosphere, great service and even better food. The only drawback is that it is a bit noisy with all the hard surfaces but that's a small price to pay.

We put our names on the waiting list for Friday night dinner, and while we were waiting we went to see the flood wall murals. When we got back, we only had to wait a few minutes for a table. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was outstanding. Exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and cards stuck to the ceiling.... More

I have been ripped off at this resturant! During my meal I was charged $2.50 for asking for three ice cubes to my order for Makers Mark. The glass was $7.00 to start which was fine. Then I had an glass of Frangelico neat and was charge an extra dollar because I ordered it neat. That glass was $7.00 to... More

We have now made Max's our beer and burger place. They have a great burger for under $10 with fries! They also have good wood fired pizzas.
