Delicious Deli Worth Your Visit

This deli is in a great historic part of town, not far from the National Quilt Museum. The bread was fresh and excellent. They allowed me to get half of a Sicilian (the special of the day), and half of a Cuban. Tasty! My mom just wanted hot tea, and connected to the bakery part of the place is a... read more

This place has such good sandwiches. They are made with fresh, homemade bread. The staff is busy, yet friendly. Next door is a bakery that has a lot of yummy options to choose from. If you are in lower town and want to try someplace that offers good food, good portions, and good prices, this is a restaurant that I... More

Kirchhoff's has been a part of the Paducah food scene since 1873 and they have perfected satisfying customers for generations. I had the Kirchoff special deli sandwich. This mountain of meat took three hands to eat. My wife says the fafaleh salad was just ok. That'so what she gets for eating a salad in a deli. A unique, fun simple... More

We stopped on our way to Nashville for a girls trip. Wonderful service and excellent food. A must stop if you are in the area.

Although the ambiance of a fine restaurant is lacking, the great food is not. Prices very reasonable, everything delicious. Fresh baked bread and goodies, but don't wait to buy as they sell out every day--and then they close up. One of the guys even recommended a quilt shop for us to check out, which also turned out to be great.

So much good stuff in there that I don't know where to begin. If you are downtown at breakfast or lunch time be sure to check it out.

Our lunch was preordered for our bus group, so was expecting a bit of a ho-hum take on a box lunch. Surprisingly, the sandwich was delicious, there was a choice of sides, and we had a wonderful cookie tucked into the box. Definitely a busy time with Quilt Week, but they handled the volume of appetites very well. Hats off... More

My ladies group loves it when one of us stops at the bakery to pick up cookies before the meeting. They also have sandwiches that are to die for! We always loved overtime at work when the boss ordered kirchoffs for lunch.
