Decent place

Celebrated wife's birthday here. Not the biggest menu, but still pretty good. Burgers are excellent. Waitress was good, but service was slow. Didn't understand that. Only 3 other tables occupied at the time we were there and had 2 servers on the floor. All in all, a good meal. Would recommend to... read more

I had the best steak here on my first night in Paducah and returned every night to enjoy the food and atmosphere. Great place for couples and groups. Staff very good.

My wife and I ate here for lunch and it was way better than most places in Paducah and I have ate at most of them. There is something about a locally owned restaurant. They seem to have better food, prices and service. Everything was homemade from the bread to the pickles. The both of us had a very enjoyable... More

Found this restaurant while walking in downtown Paducah. There were 4 of us who all chose the specials of the day. All of us enjoyed it. My dish was chicken stir fry. Really good for $10 and will have enough for lunch tomorrow! They make their own breads. As an appetizer, they gave us a free appetizer of fried wontons... More

I just moved to Paducah and my boyfriend and I decided to try this restaurant. We were there on a Friday night at 6 and there were only about 3 or 4 tables of people eating, The decor and ambiance were very nice. It's in an old historic building downtown. There's exposed brick inside and beautiful woodwork and stained glass.... More

they suggested this place around the corner. It was very good if not spectacular and they are exceptionally proud of their spiced bacon as I think they put it in just about everything--luckily it is good bacon....... I enjoyed the meatloaf sandwich--made w/ above-mentioned bacon and Gouda--and TenCatMama said her burger--yes, w/ spiced bacon--was very good but things were a... More

Shandies was a pleasant surprise! Restaurant is in a historic building across from the park and in the heart of "Old Town" Paducah, KY and walking distance to the flood wall on the Ohio River. We really enjoyed our food! My husband has NEVER ordered a Meatloaf Sandwich anywhere. He couldn't believe the flavor and the size of this sandwich.... More

Paducah was our stop over point on our two day trek to Hilton Head, SC. I had visited Paducah several times and remembered having a burger and beer at Shandies bar watching a football game. I liked the location and atmosphere so we went back as a family on a Wednesday night. On Wednesday they have a wine down special... More

Granted, we had no expectations but we were pleasantly surprised with the food and the service at Shandies. The BLT was unusual and great! The basic green salad with chicken was made special with a champagne vinegarette. All reasonably priced. Look forward to our next visit!

The service was incredibly awkward. We had to send back the mojito because it was terrible. We were skeptic on how our food would but it wasn't too shabby. The French dip was a little dry but everyone else was happy. We really liked the bacon infused ketchup.. Yum! It was under $100 for dinner and drinks for 5. So,... More
