We came back!

We were staying in nearby brookport. The 1st night we ventured to paducah, we were gonna stop here, but couldn't find parking. Two days later, we came back and got in. We went here based on numerous recommendations about specialty waffles. A little disappointed. Our wait staff did not know anything about them. As it turns out they are on Sat only. My bacon cheeseburger omelet breakfast was really good. It would have been amazing wut it had way to much mustard for my taste. The sourdough biscuit was good but... More

We had 5 people in our group and each person got something different. 2 out of 5 did not like their meals. They both said the seasoning was way too salty. One had the chopped steak and the other a vegetable plate (cabbage was the saltiest). I had the Monte Cristo which I thought was very unique and had great... More

Ate here twice over a weekend, not, disappointed at all. Simple cheese burger and fries was ace. Metal oaf and coleslaw with mashed tatters and gravy were outstanding. Service super friendly and helpful. Would love to go again.

My husband and I were looking for home style food but not a chain. The Gold Rush was recommended by some locals. I had the meat loaf and it was delicious! My husband had the smothered hamburger steak and it too was delicious. The horseradish sauce that comes with the onion rings is divine! A home made roll comes with... More

We went to dinner here during quilt week and were surprised that the menu consisted of a LOT of breakfast items. Having said that, once we met and talked to the server, we wouldn't leave! Such charm and warmth. Food guaranteed to please! When a place is packed with locals, it's sure to be a hit!!

My husband and I ate at the Gold Rush while in Paducah. We were looking for a good place to eat that was not a chain. We found one. Chose this place because of Trip Advisor reviews. It did not disappoint. We had lunch which was very good as was the service. The breakfast menu was awesome. We'll have to... More

We ate here for a late lunch during the AQS Quilt Festival. It is a small place and the wait was estimated at 10 min which turned into 25. The omelette and hash browns were adequate but not superb. Coffee was very good, but the reason I would rank this place above average is the cheese sticks which are to... More

Most important meal of the day was outstanding. Had the bread pudding waffle, all I can say was wow. Also had a pecan pancake that was very flavorful. The bacon was thick and cooked well. Prices were reasonable and the service was good. Need to go back and try a few more things on the menu.

The bread pudding waffle with apple butter was possibly the most delicious waffle I've ever had! My husband had the "Nashville Hot" chicken and waffle, which was pretty hot indeed! Service was fine, if not overly friendly, but we didn't wait long for table or food.
