The Scotch Eggs at Gold Rush Cafe are the best thing I have ever eaten for breakfast. And, . . . I've eaten a lot of breakfasts in a lot of restaurants all over the map. Boiled egg, coated with a quarter inch or more of ground up bacon and sausage and served with a light Hollandaise sauce. Yummy! One... More

This is my family's go to sit down restaurant. Specials are always a creative surprise and always amazing. Excellent value. Nothing's overpriced and the kitchen manager (owner) comes out to make sure food is great. He genuinely wants to know! Don't leave Paducah without trying it.

I have yet to eat lunch or dinner there (not that I don't want to, just haven't had the chance) so, I am going to review the breakfast. They always have something different and unique to add to the daily menu as well as tried and true favorites. Their biscuits are soft and fluffy, not hard as a rock like... More

When nothing else sounds good- Gold Rush ALWAYS sounds great! Nice location, wonderful service, fun menu- something for the pickiest of eaters to those with an adventitious pallet! Great specials, perfect staples, homemade desserts. If you haven't check it out yet, you're missing something fantastic!

Just had a burger with Mac n cheese as a bun. How ridiculously awesome can you get?!?! The staff is very friendly and the selection is all good. Not like other restaurants with a few good items on the menu, everything on this menu is amazing and if they aren't very busy, you can ask to put your own crazy... More

There is so much variety and the staff is so friendly! We love eating here! They are a place where you can get breakfast all day, but the lunch and dinner is wonderful!

Just like your neighborhood coffee shop. Good food and service. They were trying some new breakfast items when we were there. All were excellent. Where the locals go.

I've eaten there twice recently and ordered the specials, excalibur burger and the gyro. Both were flavorful and well prepared. Service is good as well. Don't forget dessert.

On a bitterly cold Sunday morning this was a warm and cosy oasis offering endless coffee with a small town, friendly service that is not so easy to find any more. Although we did not eat there the food certainly looked very appetising.

We found this place with the help of Hoopers outdoor store. Great little cafe, we wanted something light late at night & this was perfect. Split a Monte Cristo sandwich, would like to come back hungry and try some other things.
