Gold star for Gold Rush

I really enjoyed the gold rush omlete and the home fries. My husband had the chicken tenders which I tried and were also really good. You can get breakfast all day and their prices are decent. I got a huge glass of oj for $2.25.

We were greeted warmly, as though we were regulars. Our drinks came quickly and the ice tea was delicious. I ordered the BLFGT (bacon lettuce fried green tomatoes) sandwich with great anticipation. I love fried green tomatoes! My husband ordered the daily special - a pork chop sandwich. I was disappointed in the FGT. They seemed like they had come... More

I have eaten at the Gold Rush several times through the years and it has always been consistent in the quality of food, service and price. My favorite is the chili dog.

The food was very good. It was a simple place with plain decor but a great find. Would definitely put on my list to visit again.

My husband and I and our five kids loved this place! We ordered 2 scotch eggs for an appetizer to try something new. They came with a homemade honey mustard sauce. So delicious!! The bring sweet wheat hot rolls to the table with maple sugar whipped butter. Everyone loved these rolls and butter. We each ordered a different kind of... More
