My husband and I stayed overnight in Paducah earlier this year and had a great meal at another location, but this trip (October 17) we were traveling with other family members. As we were all researching places to eat, we noticed Paducah was having an Octoberfest in their downtown so we thought it would be fun to try a restaurant... More

We tried Gold Rush Cafe & Catering based on trip advisor reviews. It lives up to the ratings. The food is fresh and very tasty. My husband had the veggie scramble which I tried. I'm not a fan of scrambled eggs, but the way these are prepared was great! I simply had a Chef's Salad, which was very good. Portions... More

My wife and I tried this place on a whim. We don't get to Paducah often, but wanted to eat someplace we'd never been. This place is well-rated, so we gave it a try. Small and unassuming from the exterior, we were unsure going in. The inside was nothing to brag about, either. But the food was dynamite. I had... More

Ate here 10/10/14 with mom n law. I'm not sure why I have never ate here. After viewing other trip advisor reviews, I decided to come. I was very pleased with the service and food. I ran into several people I knew. I was surprised that this place was busy at 10 am. Mom n law had biscuit and gravy.... More

I so enjoyed my recent lunch at Gold Rush. Very understated decor, lovely service and delicious food. Very reasonable prices. I was starving when I arrived and tried the fried pickles, chili and loaded baked potato. I ended up taking most of it with me, very large portions, and all of it was fantastic. Excited to return to Gold Rush... More

Biscuit and sausage gravy is phenomenal! Bacon was perfect, not too flimsy or too crispy. Definitely need to try the French toast waffle.... So much goodness! There was a little bit of a wait on a Sunday morning, but that is usually normal. And we'll worth the wait! Service was great too! Staff was very friendly and helpful!

This place has amazing breakfast food. Weekly specials (try the Hot Brown waffle if is it offered). Dinner either on the German night or any night has not disappointed either. It is a pleasure to see a small establishment doing good things and doing them right, all at a good price with great service.

Our waitress was very nice! The menu has unique creations. We ordered a funnel cake mushroom & Swiss burger... Very unusual. I was disappointed with fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes were red and cut so thin I couldn't taste them. They were close to burnt too. But the homemade rolls with maple butter were amazing! I would go back just... More

I don't care how long you have to wait for a table here, it's worth it. I could have eaten anything on the breakfast menu and been happy... there wasn't anything that didn't sound good. I ended up ordering the Meatloaf Omelet, which was phenomenal. My friend had the Cheeseburger Omelet which I tasted and, yes, it did taste like... More

Small, family run bistro. The food is fresh and is trendy and yummy with a nice presentation. Lots of original creations! The chef (Cynthia) is very cute!
