Our waitress was very nice! The menu has unique creations. We ordered a funnel cake mushroom & Swiss burger... Very unusual. I was disappointed with fried green tomatoes. The tomatoes were red and cut so thin I couldn't taste them. They were close to burnt too. But the homemade rolls with maple butter were amazing! I would go back just... More

I don't care how long you have to wait for a table here, it's worth it. I could have eaten anything on the breakfast menu and been happy... there wasn't anything that didn't sound good. I ended up ordering the Meatloaf Omelet, which was phenomenal. My friend had the Cheeseburger Omelet which I tasted and, yes, it did taste like... More

Small, family run bistro. The food is fresh and is trendy and yummy with a nice presentation. Lots of original creations! The chef (Cynthia) is very cute!

Had breakfast Friday August 1, 2014. Ordered waffles, tasted "fishy", thought it was just me. Wife took a bite, says "these taste of fish". We tried to figure out what scenario took place where waffles would ever taste of fish. I'm a local, I'll not be returning.

My husband and I were passing through on our way to Alabama and stopped in for breakfast. He isn't a breakfast food fan, but says they made a believer out of him. I had the meatloaf breakfast scramble and he had the buffalo scotch eggs. Both were fantastic, as were the prices and employees. Worth a stop in if you... More

We were passing through and we try to avoid chains. Pleasantly surprised! We saw another person with the chicken strips, they looked good, so we ordered. Very good! Had a little dill taste to them, I am not a huge fan of dill but they were still good. Also had the Quad grilled cheese, also good. Sister-in-law order the summer... More

We were on our way home from Florida, and we were passing through Paducah during lunch time. We had our oldest son look on TripAdvisor for places to eat. He found the Gold Rush Café. We are glad he did. I had the lunch special, Burgundy Steak Omelet with mushrooms, stuffed with Brie cheese. My wife had a bowl of... More

So many choices of omelets, scramblers and sweet stuff. French Toast Waffle is served crisp like a waffle and oozes of french toast. Breakfast is served all day. Hit lunch early, it is a busy place.

Best breakfast in town. Don't miss the scotch eggs if they're on the menu when you visit. Waffles are also very good. Eclectic menu with varied choices at lunch and dinner. You never know what treasures you will find as the special of the day! Great value.
