I have eaten at the smokey valley at least month. The food is awesome, everything is usually delicious. However they close at 9 on Saturday nights which is too early. Came in around 8 pm and was served raw chicken. Yuck! But it has only happened once in the fifty times I've eaten there. The coconut pie is amazing and... More

Stopped here for something to eat and it was really good. There service was good and the staff was really friendly. Prices were not bad either. No fuel is sold here--

The restaurant was apparently on Food Channel. It's basic, down home cooking at a decent price right on I-64. Service was very slow, but friendly. If you're hungry, it's a good place to stop. Smoking is permitted in the restaurant.

Truck stop decor. Cool arcade game that the kids played while we waited for the food. I had the smoked pork chop with greens, pintos, and green beans. Bacon in my greens made a great flavor. Husband had hamburger steak with gravy. Also good. My meal with my side of cornbread and butter made me feel like I was a... More

Visited the carter caves park for our anniversary and stopped at the truck stop for lunch on our way. The smoky valley burger was so delicious we came back the next day.

If you happen to be in Olive Hill, KY and hungry, you should stop by for a bite. Simple but good food that is prepared in a traditional country manner. For our money the sides alone were worth the stop.

Everything was good but I was there yesterday and I already want to go back for the pie. I don't even like cocoanut cream pie but this was amazing! It was warm!

Smokey Valley's claim to fame is being featured on "Diners Dives and Drive-ins." It's an excellent little restaurant (not a full Truck Stop, anymore). The burgers are great, and the Coconut Cream Pie is incredible.

My husband and I stopped by the Smokey Valley truck stop on a trip from Louisville to Virginia Beach. We love Diners, Drive-Ins and Dive on the Food Network and that is how Smokey Valley showed up on our radar. Reading other reviews we were a little hesitant but I can tell you that it was great! We arrived for... More

We originally visited this fabulous restaurant in 2012 after seeing it on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and could not have asked for anything better. This was our first meal on the way for vacation, and immediately made our plans to stop there on the way back. Certainly not disappointed! We weren't going that direction on the next vacation,...
