Their Vegetable soup was great, along with the pork tenderloin sandwich, and you can also order breakfast items all day long. We will definitely return in order to taste their homemade pies and desserts!

We watched DDD showing of this restaurant upon looking for restaurants in olive hill. People who are overly critical need to stop and look at what you are getting for your money. This was obviously not a gourmet restaurant and if you expect that you will be sadly mistaken AND honestly have no place in most restaurants in kentucky! This... More

We went here a the recommendation of a local firewood vendor. The place was featured on Good Channel's Diners, drive ins and dives. As a diner, it was ok. The Smokey Hollow Burger was huge and the sample I had was tasty. I had the BLT which was pretty standard. Needed more of all the ingredients to make it special.The... More

We were there on Memorial Day. Group of 10. Food took forever. Smokey atmosphere. They mixed ups most of our meals. Pies were fine. Burgers are huge and tasty. Server was overworked and grumpy. Place was recommended by a local. Not sure if Somethig else nearby is better.

We were warned before we went in, so we were prepared for the slow service. But the food was good. Down home style cooking. I've been spoiled living in a city were smoking is banned in restaurants, but at least Smokey Valley didn't have a thick smoke cloud hanging in the air throughout the restaurant. It does allow smoking (it's... More

First off, this is a truck stop without the gas pumps, so if you're looking for white tablecloths and fancy decor you'll be disappointed. They also allows smoking so sometimes it can be a little smokey. Now on to the positives, which is the food. We first stopped for some homemade coconut pie which is a mile-high and great. The... Our family just moved to a neighboring county and after watching an episode about the place on tv, I really wanted to try the food. Well, we get there and order our food. Was still waiting about 30 minutes later when my daughter noticed at the end of our table, behind the salt and pepper shakers was a dead cockroach.... More

This place lives up to its billing on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. I visited in the middle of the afternoon for a late lunch, Service was quick and friendly. I had the Smokey Valley burger and onion rings, both of which were cooked perfectly and were flavorful. And then I topped the meal off with the best piece of coconut... More

I have eaten at the smokey valley at least month. The food is awesome, everything is usually delicious. However they close at 9 on Saturday nights which is too early. Came in around 8 pm and was served raw chicken. Yuck! But it has only happened once in the fifty times I've eaten there. The coconut pie is amazing and... More
