New ownership -- just as great as ever!

We have visited this restaurant in the past two years and absolutely loved the food, ambiance, and staff. We had heard that ownership had changed this past year and were unsure what to expect when we returned this year. But, we were not disappointed! The ambiance was just as before, the food... read more

Luca goes out of his way to create some fantastic dishes with a presentation beyond reproach. Be prepared for layered dishes, with flavors that are to inviting, you'll want to eat extremely slooooow! His wine listing is also excellent, with vintages you would not expect and something to pair with everything on his seasonal menu. After eating here twice, it... More

By far the best meal we had during our entire 10 day stay in Italy! We arrived 20 mins before opening and the owner graciously welcomed myself and my 2 adult children in, seated us and entertained for a bit talkjng about his visit to our hometown of Pittsburgh! Wonderful meal, even better hospitality. I tell everyone I know that... More

Luca , the owner, served us an amazing four-course-dinner containing the best regional ingredients. The athmosphere was just very warm and friendly. We will definitely come back! Best wishes to Luca and his Tartufo-dog Giulia! Brigitte & Bernhard

My wife, her brother and I had two meals here during our week-long stay at the Siena House last year. It was by far some of the best meals we've had in Italy. I still drool when I think about the steaks! And Luigi was a pleasure to meet. Definitely worth the effort if you have a car.

We have eaten here several times over the last year. This small restaurant off the beaten path not far from Sinelunga is run by Luigi and his wife the chef, Daniela. They are both delightful, extremely welcoming and friendly and make you feel as if you are a part of the family. One slow night, Daniela invited us into the... More

We ate two dinners at Il Fornacino based on the recommendation of our villa owner. We were so happy we did.The food was fantastic and Luigi and Daniela made the entire meal a delight. Both times we had a large group and everyone raved about the food and service. Luigi speaks very good English, so it is easy to make... More

A MUST!!! The food was incredible and the Pici is a must. Recommended by Siena House (Malvin), and if we could, we would have eaten there again and again. THE BEST!!!!

Friends and our lodging recommended this famil-run restaurant in Tuscany. Luigi and Daniela are great hosts and the food was superb and most reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed the cinghale and pasta. It is not far from Montepulciano and worth a detour/visit.
