We had breakfast at Frisch's on the 4th of July. We opted to eat from the breakfast buffet and wish I had chosen a menu item instead. The food was ok, but it was very much run-of-the-mill and the same fare you'd get anywhere for a breakfast buffet. Some items were nearly empty and some of the choices weren't very... More

The burger was good the salad bar soup bar and fruit bar were minimal at best. The waitress was good. She however was mistaken on the cost of the salad bar with an entree. The dressing was horrible possibly spoiled. No variety on the salad bar. The soup was burnt from being out too long. I Will NEVER GO BACK.

For the money, this place can't be beat. The servers are friendly hometown folks who try hard. The amount of food is just right. I often go there thinking I'm going to order am omelette or a burger, but I always end up ordering the fish sandwich. Excellent.

Perhaps we were there on an off day, but the service was slow and the food was tiny and flavorless. About the best thing you can say about Frisch's is that it's cheap.

Love the fish sandwich (less than $5). With fries, tea and tip less than $10. Service is really good. Thank God the Nicholasville Frisch's shut down their smoking section - that was the one thing that kept me from eating there.

One of the best "Big Boy" coffee shop restaurants left. Low prices, bargain breakfast car. After a couple visits you will find what you like, and what you want to avoid.

Varied menu, convenient and reasonably priced. Kids menu was great, so feeding our 9 year old was a bargain. Salad bar was nice with 2 soups and fruit and dessert. Great for lunch!

Food had little to no flavor. Helpings were adequate but not large sized. Service was OK, but not much more than here's your food. Here's your check.

The food is typical chain diner fare. The breakfast buffet is plentiful. The menu choices are good and prepared decently. But the draw, the star, the soul of the place is the waitress whom I will not mention by name. She is the reason people I know come back (perhaps more than one waiter/waitress is the reason people come back).... More
