I guess the big draw here is that it is locale and the movie Rain Man. As far as the Food, Olive garden has them beat and I don't even like Olive garden. They start out with a loaf of Italian bread that looks like wonder bread that they threw in a basket. The sample plate was terrible and the... More

Went here with my wife and daughter on a recent visit to Cincinnati. The service was great and friendly. The food was wonderful and and reasonably priced. If you are disable getting to the bathroom can be a challenge with stairs.

Bill Thanks for stopping in, we are happy that you enjoyed everything. Sorry about the restroom, it is a bit tight, especially with the one step. We hope to see you again soon! More

We went to Pompilio's on search for pasta and a unique experience. After eating we walked around the place to make sure we saw where Cruise and Hoffman were for the filming of Rainman. The Chicken Parmesan was better than a chain restaurant. Pasta was how I like it. Meatballs were ok, nothing special. The spinach artichoke cheesy dip was... More

Yes, they filmed Rainman here. And the reason is that this is a classic Italian restaurant, unlike the national chains. Everything is from scratch. And the bar takes you back 100 years!!!

Had black hair in salad, slow service when not busy, server not concerned, manager didn't bother, was asked if I wanted another, I declined. Will not return, to many other good places in town.

Delicious food, wonderful wait staff. Arrived during busy dining time with wheel chaired guest. Put our party of 10 in a secluded area so we were comfortable and other guests not impeded. Huge serving.

I agree with docproc. The salad was fine and the wine was delicious, but my veal was chewy and cold. It was like chewing on a wet rag. Yuk! I told my waiter to take the plate away. I though I would at least get the entrée taken off my tariff, but no. Restaurant is incredibly noisy. I will not... More

We've enjoyed Pompilio's for years, but the quality has slowly been going down. After last night's visit, we won't return. I had the Shrimp Renaldo, which I've loved in the past. Last night it was bland and had far too much pasta compared with the other ingredients. My wife had pasta with a marinara sauce and didn't like it. The... More

This one of my favorite hometown restaurant stops!!! It's a nice family restaurant that been around for more than 80 years in the middle of an actual neighborhood. That is a lot of history. It's like sitting in your grandma's kitchen. The menu has a good amount of a variety of hearty Italian fare meals. My favorite is the lasagna!!!!... More
