See the mirrors on the wall...my dad made the "old" ones with the etching at the bottom. Before the Rainman Renaissance aka the remodel done after the Dustin Hoffman movie filmed the "toothpick scene" here. Mirrors hung down the left and back wall of the large dining room. Allegedly so Lucky Luciano's left over mob friends could see the cops... More

This restaurant has been around for a long time, and it gets very crowded. Very popular with the locals. The food was good. Not NY Italian good, but KY good. Sauces were tasty. Bread was not good though - seemed more like Wonder bread than fresh-baked Italian bread.

We had spent the afternoon at the aquarium and were hungry for Italian. Found this place nearby on the trip advisor app and decided to try it. So glad we did. Great service and great food...our group sampled the toasted ravioli, the chicken marsala, tortillini with alfredo, chocolate cake, lemon italian cream cake, etc...all incredible.

I've been here twice now in the last 30 days. Both times we sat on back patio. We had great service. Their food is very good and reasonably priced. I've never had Chianti before. So good. Two very nice looking bocce ball courts off the patio. Definitely worth a visit.

Used to visit Pompilios in the 70s when we lived there, and loved it. Revisited on our romantic trip back to Cincy last month, and was absolutely delighted in the experience. Got there for a late night snack and nightcap. Unpretentious place. Locals from the neighborhood at the bar. Reds on the TV (They were playing just across the River)... More

My wife and I dined here last week and we enjoyed everything that we had. Try the half eggplant parmigiana for an appetizer. I had the Chicken Marsala and my better half had the Italian Sampler. We split a cannoli and had an expresso for desert. Thanks to a nice spring day, the outdoor section was very pleasant.

We had a table of 16 for Sunday noon. Loved the decor. Service outstanding. Prices moderate. I really enjoyed my lasagne. Everyone liked their meal, including small children in our group. Children' portions were substantial, as were adult. Food is very good and a nice change from the chains that dominate our dining choices these days. Will definitely return when... More

Our family dined here before going to the theatre. The asiago tomato soup is highly recommended by my wife. I had the Pomp Salad - it was well worth the extra $2 that I paid. We both had the eggplant parmigiana. The eggplant was lightly battered and fried by hand. The sauce was also homemade - no canned taste. We... More

People are so used to chains and/or "gourmet Italian" they don't recognize true Italian. I grew up in an Italian family and this is real homemade food. The marinara is a heavier style than my Dad made but still genuine. I had the Italian sampler and it was huge and tasty. My husband had a shrimp pasta dish with feta... More
