The owner, Kim, unlocked the doors a little early as we arrived before nine. Made a pot of coffee and chatted with us until our server, Emily, arrived and took our order. The French toast is out of this world. Personalized service and wonderful food. It will be our breakfast stop very time we return to Cincinnati.

They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is a great place to eat for a sandwich or a dinner, or even breakfast. Food prices are reasonable. Mokka Sunset Bar and Grill is clean and well lit and has a terrific view of the city streets from the large windows. Nice friendly staff. They have a good bar with a number... More

I run on Saturday mornings with a group. We go out for breakfast after. We came to Mokka, when I asked the hostess for a table for 6-she said 'I have to check with the manager to see if I can put a table together'. She did. We sat down and waited and waited. In the meantime, another friend who... More

We were looking for a place to get breakfast after heading out from staying in Newport for the weekend. Based on tripadvisor reviews we headed to this place and weren't disappointed. With it being a Monday morning, it wasn't crowded at all and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. My husband ordered french toast and I ordered an... More

Busy place on weekends, but go anyway. Their creme-brulee french toast is fantastic. Their service is always good, even with a crowd. We have never been here for dinner or evening entertainment, but we will try that next. You can't go wrong with Mokka!

I started going to Mokka when there was one in Hebron. The breakfast was always excellent but they were only open for breakfast, and thus the Hebron Mokka's closed. The Mokka's in Newport was never as good as Hebron but lately it has slid off into unreccomendabiltity. The last, and perhaps final, time I had breakfast there was last week... More

It's not easy to get a quality made delicious breakfast for $7. The pancakes, French Toast and waffles are awesome. Saturday night steak night is worth checking out too. $12 for a decent steak, side salad, veggie and potato. Got the black and blue done medium. It was cooked prefect lay and tasted great. This isn't a Ruby steak but... More

We were seeking breakfast while on a getaway to Cincinnati. We shared orders of the French toast and the goetta fritatta with the complementary sides of Canadian Bacon, potatoes and fruit. It was all delicious, particularly the French toast. The coffee was great. Service was prompt, and our server was especially friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be going back.

Visited Mokka for brunch. We had a short wait. They had run out of the breakfast specials. Courteous staff and service. Food was hot and tasted delicious.

The food was OK, the beer was not very cold and the server was slow and absent minded. The discouraging part of the service was that the restaurant was not busy-- so we were not real sure what was the hold up. Too many good restaurants in the area to put this one on the list.
