Excellent food with large portions. Server was friendly although a bit timid; she was a trainee. Moderate prices, expedient service and there is a deck overlooking the river.

Came here for lunch today and heard that this place was good. It wasn't bad at all... Food was average, nothing that I haven't had before. I had a bacon cheeseburger. They said the burgers come medium well and it came burned... Fries were good... Service was decent... View was great... Flies were awful, yuck-I know it's because they open... More

My wife and I came here for dinner while staying next door at the Comfort Suites. It was a Saturday night and they were pretty crowded, but we were able to get seats at the bar while we waited for a table. They had an excellent selection of craft beers on tap, at reasonable prices, which made the 30 minute... More

While we have usually had good service and good food, we recently went for our anniversary. We sat outside and enjoyed a local band while overlooking the river. The atmosphere was nice. The service, however, and our meal was the worst we've experienced there. We were highly disappointed. Thank goodness for the potato skin appetizers, because our meals were not... More

Went here with friends for lunch and started off with a 32 oz summer shandy and the hot rolls they are famous for - it was a waste to get their oversize burger ! (I ate half). Great comfortable place, good service - reasonable cost. Just don't fill up on the rolls.

It has a great view and was close to the hotel... Food is average but decent and family priced. Staff works hard and service was good but a bit rushed as they push them hard. It's a tourist trap but a good family choice if looking for lots of choices

We ate at this restaurant after a long day of touristy-activities in the area and ate here solely because it was close to our hotel. The food was good and along the lines of Bob Evans in terms of being "interesting". I think the atmosphere is supposed to be a hunting lodge kind of feel to it but the menu... More

Despite the previous review, don't order the Fried Green tomatoes. There was as much breading as there was tomato. The view from NKY across the river to Cincinnati was awesome. Service was great. Everything else we had was good.

What went wrong: they messed up our registration and split our party of 18 across two tables and we had to wait for them to fix it. What went right: the fried green tomatoes were the best I ever had. The portions were huge and the atmosphere was great.

While we were vacationing in Newport, we needed a place to eat... We read the reviews on many places to eat... Most the reviews on this place sounded mixed but we decided to try it anyways... I am more careful where we eat because of our 1 year old son. I don't want to go to fancy as not to... More
