Not compelling

If location is full that mattered this would be off the charts. The place well just average food is industrial and the restaurant has no vibe. A great bar area would be better with a little soft entertainment. And $25 for a soup and one sailed bar trip is crazy. Not to mention 3.50 for iced tea.

This restaurant has been hit and miss over the past years; However, we just went there for the first time in over a year, because we heard they had a new manager and also another chef added. We had two of the best dishes we have ever eaten, and may very well be the best meals we've ever eaten there.... More

My biggest gripe with my visit to the chart house was in the fact that the total dining experience took 2 hours 10 minutes of my life. The pace of the meal was terrible and the manager even came over to apologize for the length of the dining experience. The length of time between appetizer, soup/salad and then main course... More

We've made a tradition of going to the Chart House (albeit the one in Maryland, not ohio) for our anniversary for several years now, and decided to keep with it since we've moved and gotten married. I made the reservation and made a note that it was our 1 year wedding anniversary (keep in mind, I have not changed my... More

After spending Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve here I want to start off by saying Thank You to the support staff for working on a holiday. With that said I want to also note that I do NOT have the highest expectations for food and service on a holiday...I am happy to find anyplace open!. On both dinning occasions the food... More

We went for Happy Hour at the bar. Special drink and food items. Prime Rib sliders are to die for! Also had skinny fries and calamari also great. Specials prices on beer, wine and shots. Also a view of Cincinnati and the Ohio river.

First time in years to return to the Chart House. The view was wonderful as usual but the overall environment was too loud (and the restaurant was not full). The food was OK - stuffed shrimp were not very large nor especially tasty, scallops were also smaller and somewhat mushy, 3 other dishes were not remarkable. The Shrimp pasta looked... More

We always look forward to our annual friday night dining group's holiday party here with their spectacular setting. They always provide special attention to accommodating our request. Our service by Anna and Amy was top drawer; prompt, courteous and effecient. However one of our party had a very disappointing experience with her Scallops. They were clearly not the size one... My husband and I ate here for the first time tonight and we would definitely go back. We made reservations through Open Table and were shown promptly to our table. Our server, Anna, was amazing. She was cheerful, knowledgable and seemed happy to talk to us throughout our meal. The view was amazing with the bridge and downtown Cincinnati skyline... More

It's part of a chain but certainly holds up the reputation. The view, service and food are first rate. Go on Sunday evenings when it's less crowded.
