I have visited the original Hofbrauhaus a few times. I was really looking forward to this. My first visit was no good, but the second visit was very redeeming. See reviews. Unfortunately this visit was on par with the first one. I do think in the restaurants defense, it has to do with the time of day you visit. I... More

The bill can be a little pricey but the atmosphere and food are unlike any other restaurant in Kentucky. Make sure you get the pretzels and beer cheese... and the sauerkraut balls.

It's been ten years scene we've been back to Germany but coming to Hofbrauhaus in Newprot brings back fond memories. The food is good the beer is great and the atmosphere is authentic. What a fun afternoon.

My husband, son and I went to Hofbrauhaus on a recent Saturday night to celebrate my birthday. None of us had ever eaten here previously. When we pulled into the lot to park, the valet told us there would be approximately 1 1/2 hour wait. Inside the hostess told us, we would have a 45 minute wait. Though they were busy,... More

Visited on Wednesday evening, wasn't crowded, food was great and service was quick. Atmosphere is really awesome. You should at least give it a try. My only drawback is that if you want non smoking you basically feel segregated from all the fun, including the band. In order to enjoy that you have to sit amongst the cigarette smoke..which may... I've been to the Hofbrauhaus in Newport a couple of times and always had a great time. The food is good and most is as close to authentic Bavarian as you can get in the US. The only exception is their Schweinehaxe, it's the only dish you might be disappointed with if you've had it in Germany. Everything else is... More

My entire family gathered at the Hofbrauhaus for my 60th birthday, many who traveled from Chicago, Chattanooga, and Hartselle AL. I took my older grandson to dinner at HBH for his 21st birthday, and enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. I have eaten at the Hofbrauhaus in Munich, Germany many times and was ever so pleased when this restaurant opened.... More

Our waitress proved well informed and provided excellent advice about what to order. The food arrived hot, fresh, and we enjoyed it. We will visit here again when traveling to Cincinnati.

Visited with our four children. Nothing on the kids menu was German cuisine which was disappointing. The food was okay. Nothing to write home about. But the staff was so kind and playful with the kids. Since we don't drink, I can't comment on the beer but the smell of fermenting beer bothered my kids a little.
