Fun times with good food

It was a lot like the Hofbrauhaus in Munich. I got the cheeseburger but my friend got a braute and said it was good. Great atmosphere especially outside with great weather. Service was a little slow but we were in no rush. Go if you get a chance. The foot bridge into Cincinnati was right across the... read more

I love going here! It's got such an authentic German feel to it with the long tables and German decor. A musician plays the accordian and the patrons get up on the tables and hold their beer steins high and dance to the "Chicken Dance" song. The food is great and the beer is yummy!

My husband and I have both lived in Germany and thought the food and beer at Hofbrauhaus were tasty and pretty authentic (we had a bratwurst with sauerkraut & spaetzle and a Jaeger Schnitzel with red cabbage and potato salad). The servers were very nice too. Less positive was our parking and waiting experience: on Fri/Sat, parking at the restaurant... More

As always, the beer was amazing, and the food was great! Tim did a great job serving us, and I'd definently come back again! It's a great atmosphere in the middle of the afternoon at Happy Hour!

Family friendly, fun European atmosphere, noisy, playful kind of place. Lots of fun and why wouldn't it be like that when you serve beer, pretzels and sausages. Wouldn't suggest ruining the atmosphere by conducting business it's just not that kind of place. The food is good, prices reasonable and the portions generous. For the most part it's family seating so... More

Authentic and great atmosphere, come with friends and dance on the benches! Can get sloppy if you order too many liters, be careful! Really makes you feel like planning a trip to Munich!!

I have been here more than once and always enjoy it. I love the variety of German food items, their banana-spicy beer and their fabulous and large desserts! The price is decent, the Oktoberfest-style tables (and sometimes live accordion music) and atmosphere make it an experience! I always stop here when visiting Cincinnati.

I love German food and this has quickly become a favorite. Went while visiting Cincinnati for a game and couldn't wait to go back. So we didn't and went again the next day!

We were fortunate enough to enjoy a late lunch in the Biergarten on an early summer afternoon. Our group tried the schnitzel, sausages and Rueben. All were excellent! We enjoyed the atmosphere and a cold beer as well as the friendly service. We would love to make it back for the keg tapping the last Wednesday of the month...that sounds... More

EVERY time I am in Louisville or Cincinnati, or anywhere remotely close to Hofbrauhaus, I have to make the trip. Yeah, it's a "chain", but they have a great attention to detail and respect for the original. The beer is choice, the food is authentic and tasty and the atmosphere is something to behold. Can't imagine what Oktoberfest is like... More
