Fun and loud

The atmosphere is fun. Food good, esp the pretzels!! Yummy. The music is fun for kids in the afternoon. Very loud in evenings, lots of laughter!!!!

Grabbed a quick late afternoon snack at this establishment and was surprised at the lack of people, but then again it was the codest day on record for the region. The pretzel was a little dry but the potato pancakes were excellent.

Live German music, tables of people having fun, drinking, eating and conversation! The outdoor dining seemed to be the younger college crowd and the indoor was more family and older adults having fun. Great food and great beer. Tried several different beers and the waitress was extremely helpful. Over all great experience.

There are two different atmospheres here. Inside is true to the German Bier Haus with mugs, music and great German food. In the summer the outside is a casual fun place to have a sandwich, beer and see friends.

Wanted to stop by last night with some german friends but after being asked for a $5 parking fee, even though I'm going to eat at the Hofbräuhaus and probably spending at least $50 there, I turned around and left. How can you charge your own customer a parking fee? Worst impression ever!

We understand your frustration but it's a must in our area at certain times. If we didn't charge then our parking lot would be full on customers from the businesses across the street and our customers could not park in our lot. More

Our first visit was tasty enough that we can't wait to go back! We went midafternoon on a Saturday and were seated right away. We decided the sampler platter for two would be a good way to try out several different dishes. Delicious doesn't begin to describe it. They were very generous with the amount of food on the platter... More

I've eaten many times at the Munich Hofbrauhaus, had many a liter of bier, and had lots of fun. This place is a pretty good copy. The food is the same and the beer is excellent. They even had a one-man German band the night I was there (it was a week night). The servers were super friendly and helpful,(something... More

We enjoyed our first ever trip to Hofbrauhaus, celebrating my husband's Birthday. We went ~5pm on a Saturday, which was a great time to go. Our party of 3 was seated right away, even though it was crowded. When we left ~6:30pm, the line filled the entry area and almost out the door. That part of town gets quite crowded... More

Being German, and having knowledge of what true German food is supposed to be, this is the next best thing to being in Munich. Growing up eating homemade German fair, this is the best around. And the beers served are the best. Though they still serve it American style ( chilled ), let it warm a bit to get the... More

I've eaten here a few times over the years after visiting the original in Munich, if you are in the Cincinnati / northern Kentucky it's a lot of fun. Not everyone likes German food which led my ratings, for me it's perfect, try the Schnitzel Weiner Art with a fried egg on top, the pork shank is massive, and the... More
