Fun atmosphere with good food and plenty of good beers. Music was good and he kept everyone involved.
Went with a couple family friends, group of 10 or so for my uncle's birthday. Ate before I went because it was lent, but they have a lenten menu that offers additional meals during this time of the year, so don't let that stop you in the future. I think it's an underrated place to drink beer. I like the... More
From the long tables that seat multiple parties to the oompah band playing this was a wonderful experience for the entire family. My two boys really enjoyed the evening and the food the remember from our family trip to Germany last year.
We were there with my son and family, 7 adults and 5 kids under 12. The German beer hall setting is amazing and also pretty loud. The food was good with large portions and the beer is excellent, brewed on premises, and the kid ate free, maybe a sunday deal ? The entertainer was playing an accordion and was great,... More
If you've never been you have to try this place to experience the atmosphere. The food was good. Got the wurst platter and it was awesome! It is loud in there so it's hard to talk to your company. Would recommend.
Tried this place on a recommendation of a friend. The atmosphere is great. You are in a beer hall with long tables to sit at. The waitress was very helpful. We ordered pretzel app as well as sauerkraut balls. While the pretzels were great, the sauerkraut balls were amazing. Then we ordered entrées. a plate of potato like gnocchi with... More
I went here at lunch, and the place was dead. Not sure if that's normal, but whatever. Fine for lunch but dunno if I would come to hang out with no one else there. The beer was quite good. Excellent selection, very authentic beers. Just like what you can get in Germany. I got the schnitzel for food and it... More
Traditional Hofbrauhus. Beer, food, seating, staff, entertainment. We had a very good visit. In fact, we made the decision to return to Zinzinatti for Oktoberfest this year. Although, the Hofbrauhaus said they don't participate it the Cincinnati event. Apparently Newport has a celebration as well. Doesn't mean we won't cross the river to visit. If you have never been to... More
We brought our two kids (ages 13 and 15) to the Hofbrauhaus for the first time and the boys thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, with the accordion player "rocking out" and everyone doing the chicken dance on their tables. As always, the Hofbrauhaus Dunkle was outstanding and the food was just fine - we love their sauerkraut. My only problem is... More
This place is amazing if you like authentic German food, beer and the atmosphere of a bier hall. A live band playing German music and the beer flowing. The Bavarian Jagerschnitzel was well cooked, German potato salad perfect and red cabbage good. If you are anywhere near Cincinnati this is well worth the visit and affordable too. Not as expensive...
