Went to Midawy to find a quaint restaurant. First one we looked at was to long of a line. Came up The Grey Goose. We sat outside on the nice porch and had a drink. We order a 1/4 head of lettuce each and a pizza. The salad was very good. Great condiments it. I wanted a pepperoni pizza and... More

My husband and I stopped over in Versailles to visit the horse park and some bourbon distilleries on the way to IN. We arrived on a Sunday, so there were limited dinner choices in a small town. We choose the Grey Goose and loved the location in downtown Midway. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside on the... More

We enjoyed a wonderful club hoagie. It combined elements of a club sandwich with a hoagie and was just great. Very enjoyable lunch. Good service. Good prices. Others had different sandwiches. All were good.

Tuesday night crowd was not to capacity yet we waited over an hour for two pizzas and a sandwich. Service was slow and there was not any information provided as to why the food was delayed. When the food came one pizza was udwercooked. Still doughy.

We stopped by Midway to do a little shopping and have a late lunch. We ate on the patio which was so spacious and comfortable. The menu had a huge variety of sandwiches and pizzas along with a huge bar selection. We ended up having pizza and the beer cheese appetizer. Delicious! Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. We... More

Our lunch at The Grey Goose was the second time here on a Mother's Day, and I was disappointed with the whole experience. We were there about 2 pm and the outdoor seating was not busy. Wait staff seemed busy and she repeated several times, "Your order is coming in a couple of minutes. The meal arrived about 25 minutes... More

They are know for their pizza but my wife had the fish and chips and I had the hamburger with a fried egg. Both were very good. Staff was excellent. We sat outside on the patio which was great. Only complaint is I had the Iceberg Wedge which was very large but lacked enough bacon and tomato. Lettuce was charred... More

This place has great atmosphere, food and service. I would suggest the pizza and Goose burgers. The only thing that needs to be changed is more of a selection on the menu. Yummy!

I was anxious to try the restaurant after seeing it featured on a Kentucky food television special. It was everything I expected and more! The food was delicious and appealing. The location is just off the interstate (only a couple of miles) in a beautiful little stretch of shops and restaurants in downtown Midway. The bar is attractive and comfortable,... More

This "restaurant" is no more then a trumped up pizza joint. Everything , except the pizzas, appear to have been previously frozen, and are heated on a microwave. The appetizer portion of mushrooms were so breaded and fried that one only tasted the breading. The steak is of poor supermarket "non" quality; the drinks are fairly expensive; the decor at... More
