Went there for the brunch. Menu had nice items so we ordered biscuit and gravy, hash browns, and eggs. When we arrived we were the only ones in the place. As we sat there waiting for our food we noticed that two radios were playing. One classic rock and the other country, very loud country! It was coming from the... More

Walked in one evening and the place only had three tables of people in it and it took them over an hour to bring out our food. The hostess had a very snotty attitude. The food was only "ok". I had a bratwurst that was really a greasy polish sausage. Midway has a number of other restaurants that are much... More

Six of us came in for dinner, and were deliberate in ordering a variety of items. We started with the crispy kale, which I have to admit I was reluctant to try, because I'm not a kale fan. It was insanely good! We ordered a second order. I ordered the 3 for $15 small plates. I had the balsamic beets... More

A fairly limited menu with some good ideas that need some tweaking. A good beer and bourbon selection really makes 815 a good casual spot. The small plate menu has some really good items especially the 'shrimp boil, but the mussels were tiny and bland and the pork belly was lacking any flavor at all. Portion sizes were good and... More

I stopped in for lunch on a weekday and could not have been happier that I chose this restaurant. The small plates were 3/$15. Delicious, fresh choices with large serving sizes were more than I could tackle. The Brussels sprouts -- scrumptious with bacon and a tasty sauce! Tomato soup with basil cream -- also excellent. The shrimp boil was... More

Waited an hour on the patio, never got our drinks. The table next to us also waited and never got the drinks they ordered. After trying to find someone inside to get our drink orders, we finally gave up and went elsewhere. Too bad, because the band was great. Won't be back.

We made reservations for Lexington restaurant week and really wanted to eat the lamb (as was advertised). We got to the restaurant at 7.30pm and waited for everyone to get there, our server did bring us drinks but did not take our order or bring bread until 30min later. They did not have lamb, only swordfish and pork... When we... More

I am a "foodie" - a true food addict - and I am quite picky about what I eat. The meal I had here was, without a doubt, as good as any I've had at any restaurant ever! We ate in the Tavern downstairs and loved the relaxed atmosphere. I was amazed to discover that everything is freshly prepared on... More

After our tour of Old Friends (a retirement facility for thoroughbreds) and on our way to Equus Run Vineyards, we took up a recommendation to have lunch at 851 Prime in Midway. Enjoyed a tasty selection of small plates (3 for $15), consisting of roasted beets, mussels and Brussels sprouts. Yummy! The trio was more than enough. We saw some... More

The Brunch menu may be a bit small but the food is full of flavor. Bacon to die for. Thickest slice that will claim the "best ever" spot. Shrimp and grits cooked the way they were meant to be served. The chef makes his own sausages and hotdogs. If you ever see the bourbon pecan pie on the menu board... More
