Traveling from Cincinnati to lake cumberland, we like to take in little towns along the way. Midway was just that! Cute spot to stop. A few shops and a great selection of restaurants. Had a fabulous monte cristo sandwich and big ben sandwich at Darlin Jeans. The service was great! We'll stop again for sure

We eat here often, they have very good food. Our favorite sandwich is the monte cristo. The onion rings are the best we have ever eaten. Usually have good desserts. Service can be a little slow at times, and they are closed on Monday and Tuesdays I think. Midway is really neat place to visit, like going back in time.

I think if you are visiting Kentucky for the derby you must make a stop in Midway and Darlin Jeans. The food is good, the staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is Kentucky. This place will remind you of home and the town is something special. Eat, Relax and Enjoy this wonderful small town restaurant.

One of the best sandwiches I've had but can't remember the name! Basically, it was roast beef, two cheeses, on a good roll. Very tasty. I had the loaded baked potato casserole as a side. Wonderful! My wife had the chicken salad which she said was good. Everyone was friendly, clean....including the restroom. Yeah, they do need to address the... More

Try to the Blue Ben... It's a fun twist on a reuben. I hear the pies are great, but we were stuffed!

Midway has done awesome eating establishments. This is one of the best. Everything is good. Enjoy a nice drink while sitting on the covered porch. The staff are very nice, food is good and value is tops.

We needed a stop on our way home and Darlin Jean's had great reveiws. I will warn anybody to check their hours, as they do close from 2-5 daily. The staff in the kichen were LOUD, they seemed much more interested in each other than waiting on clients. I had the hot brown which seems to be a popular item... More

I find Darlin Jean's a bit over rated. With that said, they have good homemade cobble if your into those things. It's a good stop in Midway, but I wouldn't detour to go there. Staff is very good and friendly.

We were excited to try Darlin Jeans' after reading the reviews. There were 3-4 alternatives in Midway as we drove from Indianapolis to Tennessee. Our first reaction was as we were seated... the "mildew", "mold", "musty" smell was overwhelming. My wife used their restroom facilities and found them their cleanliness condition to be less than satisfactory. As for everything else:... More

We arrived for an early dinner and sat outside on the deck under an umbrella. Food was really good - we had the onion rings which were served with an awesome sauce; I had the firecracker shrimp salad (yummm -- it is a take on Bang Bang Shrimp from Bone Fish Grill) and my husband had a burger which he...
