High quality ice cream served in a clean shop by friendly people. Even with 8 of us there was little wait. Everyone enjoyed it. Was a nice end to a busy day.

Some other spots are good, and some are trendy, but for the very best ice cream head to Graeter's. Rich, creamy, with fresh ingredients. Great seasonal specials. My favorites are peach and salted carmel....but I like lots of other ones, too.

This is a neat place that one should visit when in the neighborhood. Some of the best ice cream I have ever eaten and the amount they give you in a cup is hard to imagine. The dips were huge and the cost very reasonable. The best part was the taste. i had butter pecan and it was delicious while my... More

Great flavors with seasonal ingredients. Peace ice cream was great. I think these places are scattered around town.

The best banana split I have ever had! My wife had three different scoops of different flavors and was very satisfied. A nice way to end our day.

Many years ago, I lived in Louisville and I fondly remember Ehrlers dairy and their wonderful chocolate milkshakes. I returned this past weekend and learned that Ehrlers is no more, but the mantle of having the best ice cream in Louisville had been assumed by Graeter's. It is a wonderful successor. The chocolate milkshake, which of course is handmade, is... More

Good but not amazing. There was a tasty Arnold Palmer slush and butter pecan and toffee chips ice cream was very good. This is very popular and it can get crowded but they move fast.

We were visiting Louisville and decided to try Graeter's Ice Cream. What a yummy surprise! My daughter and I sampled several flavors - all were excellent. We settled on mint chocolate chip and chocolate peanut butter cookie dough. The counter person was very helpful and we continued on to sample many gelato offerings as well. Upon returning home we learned... More

Stopped in after dinner when we visited Louisville. The flavors are great, pure and complex. I enjoyed the sorbet tremendously but also sampled the banana ice cream. That was way better than I even thought possible. This location has a little patio and is in a neighborhood area with nearby pubs and relatively nice and peaceful surroundings. You can even... More
