I've been to this place several times. Every time I go, I plan to try something new but I just can't resist the amazing-ness of the peanut butter French toast!

We arrived around 9:30 on a Saturday morning and were seated by a very cheerful host within about 5-10 minutes. When we left a little over an hour later, the wait was about 30 minutes. The coffee was just ok and at $2.50 a cup, I thought a little overpriced. It took what seemed like ages (perhaps 30 minutes?) for... More

The reviews on TA extolled the pancakes and other breakfast items, but we ordered lunch. The Baby Spinach Salad was so disappointing despite the Bleu Cheese, balsamic vinaigrette, toasted walnuts, dried cranberries, fresh strawberries, and crumbled bacon. The spinach was bruised and unappealing either from manhandling or from age. I asked for a replacement and the spinach in the second... More

The 21C Museum Hotel recommended this restaurant for breakfast (which is high praise as Proof on Main Restaurant is excellent too). It is amazing. My husband and I and another couple stopped for breakfast on the way to St. James Art Festival - and it almost made the festival anti-climatic. The Lemon pancakes are fab-u-lous! They were so good, I... More

Stopped here for breakfast. Stayed at Galt house and it's a bit of a walk but easy drive. Arrived about 9:40 and a had ~ 10 minute wait. The decor is nice, with exposed brick in some areas. I had buttermilk pancakes with cranberries and 3 thick slices of applewood bacon. My breakfast with coffee was $10. Luke was my... More

Tried Toast for the first time this weekend. Got there just before the Sunday brunch crowd, seated immediately. Luke was our server and he took great care of us without being a pest. Suggested the special, a BLT scramble, which we both enjoyed very much. Pumpkin latte was tasty! We will return soon.

This place was absolutely amazing! Stopped here on the way to the airport after a bridal shower weekend with the girls. Loved the creativity of the menu options, and the taste of the food and drinks did not disappoint. Nice variety of both breakfast and lunch options, and some really cool and delicious coffee drinks in HUGE mugs. The restaurant... More

Just ate brunch, and let's just say I wish they were open for dinner!! Menu is vast with good spin on old classics!! Mimosas and bloody Mary's were different but delicious (watermelon mimosa). Breakfast and lunch hours only, closed on Mondays. Surprised we were seated quickly on a Sunday afternoon. Wish we lived closer so we could do brunch more... More

Loved, loved, loved Toast on Market! From the wonderfully restored interior to the super friendly staff, everything was great. If you're having trouble deciding what to order from the many tasty selections on the menu, let me save you the trouble. GET THE LEMON SOUFFLé PANCAKES -YOU WILL THANK ME LATER! Not sure why everyone raves about this place. I tried it again after a three year break and it's still just meh. I can make better pancakes at home. The bread pudding pancake didn't have any hint of bread pudding taste, no sweetness, and the spot if syrup didn't help. I also tried the lemon pancake - again not very... More
