Convenient and affordable breakfast place

After being seated, we were greeted and served water almost immediately. The place was almost full, which was surprising as it was a weekday. After being seated, we were greeted and served water almost immediately. The place was almost full, which was surprising as it was a weekday. I ordered the Eggs Bennie while my brother went for a Wild Western Omelette, both with coffee. The meal was delicious and the waitress checked on us regularly. I will stop here for breakfast the next... More

FANTASTIC BREAKFAST PLACE. We were in town for the birth of our 1st grandchild and based on a family member's recommendation we went to Wild Eggs for breakfast. We got there fairly early for a Sunday and there was already a line -- but the wait was worth it. I ordered the Kalamaty Katie's Border Benedict (saw a number of... More

Was very busy on Sunday morning which is a good sign. Wait was not very long for table, service was quick, though a little forgetful. All five if us had excellent breakfasts. Would definately eat there again.

I stopped in around noon for my first meal of the day and some coffee. I was alone so I sat at their breakfast bar. The high bar stools were surprisingly sturdy and comfortable. I was greeted and served coffee and water almost immediately. I ate the Crabs Benny. It is a egg benedict with crab. It was delicious. Really... More

I love this little restaurant. We only get to eat there once or twice a year when we are in town on business. The sweet tea is fresh brewed and the eggs Benedict and breakfast scramble with lots of veggies are two of our favorites. The simple "egg" decor is cute. Looking forward to breakfast again tomorrow morning before we... More

The food was great and I loved my waitress. Went there yesterday, going back today. Try the country fried steak was enough for three people.

We went here for brunch on a Saturday. The wait was 25 minutes when we arrived so we got a paper menu and looked it over as we waited. The place filled up fast! By the time we got our seats the wait was 45 minutes!!! Wild Eggs is a very colorful place with a unique menu. I was nervous... More

Went on a Wednesday 8AM in mid summer. Not very busy. There is not that much around this place since it is half way between 4th street and NuLu. Lots of renovation going on around it, and some closed businesses over on Main. Don't let the neighborhood deter you. This is a GREAT place for breakfast. There is only one... More

We often reward ourselves with a trip to Wild Eggs when we have to go to the hospital area in St. Matthews for an early morning test that required fasting. Their breakfast was never any better than it was the other morning. We divided an omelet made to order and an order of pancakes and our server brought us two... More
