Great Sunday Brunch

We eat breakfast here everyday during our stay. the Huevos Rancheros ROCK! Though if you are new to Louisville be sure you try the Hot Brown, a dish created in the 1920s for the late night guests at the Brown. The service was exceptional

My husband is from Louisville, and though we live out of state, we try always to stop in at J. Graham's for a Hot Brown when we're in town. We actually ordered them for brunch two days in a row on a recent visit! Ask to split an order, as the portion sizes are enormous. They were perfect, as usual... More

In the Brown Hotel, J Graham's Cafe in Louisville is a great place for breakfast or lunch. The food is first-rate....the best ingredients, dishes, etc. The buffet at lunch is superb. Salads, soups, entrees, desserts. If you can exercise some self-control, you can eat really well and healthy at the same time. The healthy options are most viable and delicious.... More

Wasn't really sure about getting this but glad I did. If you stay at the Brown hotel, which I did, you most certainly must get the "hot brown" a Louisville tradition. Available all day long, this crazy concoction has various components. I got mine with two eggs over easy-which was recommended. Nice place in the hotel; highly recommend.

We arrived in Lousiville Sunday morning and our first stop was J Grahams Cafe to try to the Hot Brown. Luckily the brunch buffet included the Hot Brown as well as all of the other breakfast fixings you can imagine along with a raft of desserts. If I had not been in town for business I might not have shelled... More

Got to try for the first time the famous Hot Brown Sandwich. Wow, what a delicious treat! Was with my sister and we asked our server if one order would feed both of us and he said most definitely. They were even kind enough to cook them in separate baking dishes so we didn't have to split the dish ourselves.... More

Well, if you want to eat the legendary hot brown there is no better place than where it was invented, the Brown Hotel in downtown Louisville. The meal was a bit pricey, but then one pays for the experience and ambiance as well as the meal. I have made hot browns, mornay sauce over slice turkey on thick toast with... More

Just enjoyed a lovely breakfast at the Brown Hotel. My husband had the classic and I enjoyed a light lemon poppy seed muffin fresh from the oven. Service was excellent as was the coffee.

We were looking for someplace to have lunch on Christmas Eve and J. Graham's was one of the only place open in the downtown area. Our last visit simply wasn't good. This time it was great. The service couldn't have been better. My wife and I had burgers that were not only very tasty, but visually impressive, too. My son... More

Part of the allure of the Brown Hotel is the eponymous Hot Brown. I chose to enjoy mine at J Grahams Café, on the ground floor level of the Brown hotel. The service staff was more than friendly and helpful. Also, they have a wonderful brunch buffet which I would highly recommend.
