Ok so admittedly the hype was from one person highly recommending the Hot Brown at the Brown Hotel. My colleagues and I travel to Louisville once sometimes twice a year for business and we take our client's restaurant recommendations every single time. The Hot Brown was on the lunch buffet so we went for it. He was right again. Everything... More

We have been eating Mother's Day brunch at J Graham's for a number of years. And while it was good this year, it wasn't nearly as good as in the past. Some of the good items on the buffet were, Omelets, Caprese Salad, Blue Cheese Potatoes, Carved Rib Eye, and all the desserts. The items that weren't very good were,... More

While the rest of my stay in Louisville was frought with frustration - our breakfast experience at J. Grahams was easy and delicious! The items on the breakfast buffet are unique, delicious and fresh. The juice was especially tasty. We would definitely visit again! The servers were very attentive and polite.

That's it. You have to get a hot brown. Had one back before my gluten-free days and loved it. My fussy hubby had one this time even though he was sure he wouldn't like it. HE LOVED IT.

If you have never had a Kentucky Hot Brown, get ready for something delicious. The first time I tried this decadent sandwich was at Bobby Flay's restaurant in New York. I found out from this Kentucky originator of the hot brown that Bobby challenged them to a throw down. They won the throw down. This sandwich is made with big... More

Service here is immediate and attentive without being overbearing. The food is pretty good and typically priced for such a hotel restaurant. Not a bad experience.

They lost our reservation for Easter brunch and made us sit at the bar just to get breakfast, even though many tables were open and it was still over 45 minutes before the first brunch seating.

We were staying at the hotel and ate here on our way out on Sat. We wanted to try the famous Hot Brown and Derby Pie. They were serving breakfast but luckily they serve Hot Browns all the time! It was delicious but the Derby Pie was awesome. The staff was so friendly and service exceptional.

What a nice experience we had here. The servers and even the maitre d went above board to see that our every need was met, including preparing an entree that was not on the menu. Refreshing to eat at a place where service is friendly, efficient and genuine n

It was suggested by a family member that when I go to louisville I must have a hot brown. I asked around the town, and everyone recommended the Brown Hotel (where it was created). Very nice dining room, but also very expensive. The hot brown was okay, but not worth the money spent.
