Excellent service and the ?Maître d ran the front of house in an efficient and kind manner. Our food was delivered hot and was a good value.

Had a the classic breakfast with grits. Hit the spot before heading out on the road again. The food and staff are top notch!

Staying at the Brown and went in for breakfast - disappointed. they open at 7am, but they weren't ready, still setting up service at the buffet, cleaning some tables etc. That should all be done before they open. Musty smell mixed with some dish detergent smell. The Cafe needs to step up a bit to meet the level of The... More

I went to this cafe like many others, to try the famous sandwich. Yes, it's a plate of toasted bread and carved turkey, covered in a super cheesy sauce, topped with bacon. Recipe for a heart attack? Maybe. However, it was worth it! I gladly finished most of it and my 12 year old son finished off the rest (after... More

We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of the cafe almost every morning we were here. Everything we ordered was good and if you like oatmeal, theirs is delicious. Great coffee too and plenty of refills.

We first went to The Brown for cocktails on the urban bourbon trail. Service was great, so we returned to J Grahams for the Hot Brown. We loved the Hot Brown. Fresh and delicious. We also had some delicious bourbon. We received superior service and really enjoyed our experience. The property is also visually interesting and appealing.

The cafe was a very nice, full-priced restaurant. We felt like we had to have the Hot Brown there and, well, I guess I'm just not a Hot Brown kind of guy. I got a bubbling plate of turkey covered in a heart-stopping mornay sauce with a bit of bread hiding underneath.

We made a special trip to the Brown Hotel just to have a Hot Brown at the place in which at which it originated. This widely heralded open-faced sandwich met all of our expectations and then some. We didn't try anything else at the restaurant, but I give J Grahams an "excellent" rating and my highest recommendation based on just... More

This is in the lobby of the historic Brown Hotel - a must stop for any tourist, original home of the "Hot Brown" - so of course you must try it! Never had one or heard of it, so I was in for a treat - the "Hot Brown" here is an elaborate turkey sandwich actually served in a small... More

J Graham's cafe on the ground floor of the Brown hotel presents a less formal dining experience, There is a daily lunch buffet, and the regular menus is very good, especially the original hot brown. We tried the mac and cheese as well as some of the other sandwiches, all of which were very tasty. A civilized lunch experience. Take... More
