We decided to have brunch here but were a little too early for the buffet. My husband had a traditional breakfast for $15 which consisted of 2 eggs, 2 PCs of bacon, an English muffin, and breakfast potatoes. The potatoes consisted of 6-8 pieces of potato chunks that were poor in quality and taste. I had the famous "Hot Brown".... More

I loved the atmosphere. I ordered oatmeal and coffee, so I didn't offer much of a culinary challenge, but the presentation was beautiful, and the oatmeal was good. The coffee was a little strong, and we had trouble getting our waitress's attention.

My husband and I recently returned from our first-time visit to "Loo-vull" (Looeeville as we say in Washington State). Wanting to savor the local flavors and history of the area, we chose lunch at the Brown Hotel. We cannot say enough for the level of service, the quality of the meal and the ambiance of the location. The cafe is... More

We ate hear on a Sunday and ordered the buffet for $26 each. It had a nice variety of foods which included smoked salmon, eggs, potatoes, pastries, fruit, bagels, etc. The staff was exceptional and the service is great. Prices for individual plates ranged from $15 to $20. I'd definitely eat here again if I stay at the Brown.

The one thing that I wanted to eat while in Louisville was a Hot Brown. So if I am going to eat one, I deiced to get one at the place that created it. This was one of the best sandwiches that I ever have eaten. The flavors were all amazing and delicious. The turkey was so moist and flavorful.... More

This place is not only elegant and comfortable, it also boasts excellent service and very professional staff. The Hot Brown is a must! So unbelievably delicious. One plate is very large. So I recommend asking the waiter to split it for two people. It was very filling.

The home of the famous Kentucky Hot Brown was worth the wait. I learned of the Hot Brown when I moved here 20 years ago, but just made my pilgrimage to the Brown. Bucket list item checked off.

I went for the history and ordered the famous Hot Brown lunch. My server, Lindsey, was delighted when I really enjoyed the sandwich. Frankly, I had become bored with turkey so I was surprised when this turkey turned out to be so moist and tasty. What really delighted me, however, was Lindsey's concern about my enjoyment. I reported to George,... More

Our group ate here prior to leaving the Brown Hotel. They offered a nice lunch buffet but we each opted for menu service. They had many lighter options in addition to the traditional hot brown sandwich.
