wow, just wow.

OK, people I am not a food snob. I like my food to be prepared, plated and pleasing to the eye. But overall, I expect it to be done. This is the only place in my 55 year old life that I had to send the plate back and request a different product. My brisket was totally unedible. In fact,... read more

To start, they weren't busy and yet it still took forever for the server to come greet us. We had never eaten there before, so we looked over the menu. I had questions for the server, like his personal favorites and such. He wasn't any help at all. He acted like he didn't want to be bothered. I went for... More

After reading other review it appears this place can be great or poor, with consistency the biggest challenge. The night we went it was wonderful. Great food, great service, and comfortable and clean atmosphere. Smokey Bones is decorated in a lodge style, with dark wood beams everywhere. Signs posted here and there with clever or somewhat obnoxious sayings. I ordered... More

I have been to this restaurant several times and always had great food and service. We went there last night and had a great experience. The restaurant was full with a fairly long wait for a table, so we decided to just eat at the bar since there were seats available there. The bartenders were asking for our drink order... More

It was a Sunday night and we were still able to walk right in. We had just left a funeral home so I was tired and not very hungry. I got the appetizer People's Choice. I'm going to be eating it all week, The fries were out of this world.

We were extremely disappointed with our food. The plates were hot but the food on top of them barely reaching luke warm! Waitress was friendly and fast! We wouldn't stop here again or recommend to anyone!

Since I'm from KC I may be a little basis when it comes to BBQ. But this is a great place. We got it town late and was trying to find s restaurant that was still open. Smokey Bones was open until 130am. Not crowded and our waitress was nice and accommodating. Even though it stated it was a bar... More

Had the BBQ burger..this thing was a work of art...topped with a onion ring..pulled pork and 1/2 lb hamburger..this was sensational...kids meals were good sized portions and just as appetizing... Would go back in a heartbeat... A must go to..

My wife and I have dined here two times. Neither times were the same, there seems to be no consistency in the food. The first time the food was better. With that being said we have received average to below average service both times. You can find better bbq at much, much cheaper prices at your local hole in the... More

Visited 4/18/2014 while in town for a volleyball tournament. It was mid afternoon, no crowd, seated immediately by a very nice waiter that end up being our server. He suggested stuff to do in our area since we chose not to watch the fireworks. Restaurant has a rustic log cabin setting. Daughter ordered plate that had two meats, two sides.... More
