Bistro 301 provided me with an appealing menu that drew me to dine there. The restaurant was packed but that did not affect the quality of the service. The food was great quality too. However, two of the dishes we ordered were ridiculously small in size despite the high price tag. For example, the verlasso salmon was 1/2 inch width... More

The Fourth Street Entertainment area is full of chain restaurants with the same old tired menus. Walk up Third Street instead and you will find this great little gem. The food was unique and inspired. I had grilled swordfish with a Verde sauce over barley and arugula salad that was amazing. I had to eat here twice because I was... More

This was a second visit. Our first visit was very good, so we're looking forward to a return visit. The place was packed prior to a concert and I feel that they failed to have enough servers and kitchen staff to handle the unexpected crowd. Drink service was slow and incorrect plus a long wait for our food order. I... More

The night we visited, there were two large groups that filled the restaurant. So we ate at tables outdoors. The temperature was in the 50's, so we were somewhat chilly. The service was slow, but that could have been due to the crowd inside. The food was mediocre.

We just arrived this afternoon and chose the Bistro 301. What a great choice. We ate at one of the tables in the bar area and loved it. Service could not have been better. We had our two teenage granddaughters and they loved it also. I had the Hangar steak and it was like eating beef tenderloin, my husband had... More

I liked the ambiance and decor of Bistro 301. Order the Hot Brown. You won't be disappointed. The hostess was very friendly and gave me a few tips on how to enjoy my first visit to the Kentucky Derby.

I visited Bistro 301 recently and we had a great time. The food was great and the staff was friendly. The Hot Brown was out of this world, as was the asparagus gazpacho. I highly recommend it..

I recently traveled to Louisville and this was the first restaurant I visited there. I was thoroughly impressed! My friend and I were promptly seated and served. Very hospitable staff. I'm almost certain the owner was the one who sat us and then came back over later to make sure everything was satisfactory. He had a faint smell of bleach... More

For an affordable night out, this is it. However, the waiter may be too rushed to give you much of his precious time. I hate being negative about such good place to eat, but dining is more than eating food.
