Overpriced, bland, poor service

Snagged a last minute reservation for dinner before we caught a Christmas show just around the corner at Actors Theater. Friendly wait staff and good drinks. Two diners had the crab cakes, which delish. Good food.

We stopped in on Friday night and I guess we were lucky to get a table before the dinner rush - it is a small place so I would highly recommend if your going to try this place call ahead for reservations. Our waiter - very nice guy - we were very pleased with the service. My husband had the... More

I have been traveling to Louisville for work for over a year now. One thing I always do, is have at least one meal at 301 while in town. I think they have the best sit down lunch value in town. A cup of soup and a salad or sandwich are awesome. They have great daily lunch specials. I also... More

Has a nice bar area and separate dining room. Good selection of beer and plenty of options for lunch. The staff was very friendly.

The bistro looks good and was busy on the night we visited but it was the night that the christmas lights were turned on. Soup was good and hot , the special of fish cooked three was was not special and had little taste. The vegetarian cassoulet was semi raw , mainly beans in a watery sauce. Paper napkins

Bistro 301 called and canceled my reservation for four that I made weeks ago because they got a large group coming in and wouldn't have room for our four. A very poor way to treat a regular customer who had introduced several friends to their establishment.

We started with a glass of wine and the crab & artichoke appetizer. We got the small and it was more than enough for the two of us. My wife had the special which was a barbecue chicken breast, ham, bacon, cheese, lettuce and tomato on pretzel bun. It was huge! I had the hot Italian sub pepperoni, salami, ham,... More

We went here for a late dinner (around 8:30p) and weren't super hungry but we enjoyed our meal. Decor is lovely, not too loud inside and outdoor seating available (a few tables). We enjoyed our meal - my husband had a burger and the soup of the day special and I had a salad. Drinks and food were quite good.... More

Met my niece for lunch. Service was excellent. Management was present and noticeably working. Food was good. Recommend turkey club on pretzel roll or tuna salad sandwich. Food was delivered promptly even though busy lunch crowd. Bit noisy. Will definitely return.
