Friendly Service. Good Hot Brown

I chose Bistro 301 because it was notated on another site that they served up a very good Hot Brown. Service was fast and friendly. Though it was pretty quiet on the night that I went. They had happy hour specials. I did order the Hot Brown and a mushroom bisque. Both were very tasty... read more

We travelled from Pittsburgh to Louisville for the SkillsUSA convention, which took over the city. We wanted to avoid the heavy crowds and routine of 4th Street. We found the Bistro 301 just a short distance away. We were seated immediately and greeted by our wonderful server, "CoCo" Chanelle. Upon our inquiry, she recommended the Hot Brown. We also were... Great food and good service. If you are looking for a steak in Louisville go here and get the filet. As good as I have had from the fancier places at a fraction of the price. The kids loved their meals of Mac and cheese and grilled cheese. A fantastic find.

Attended with a large business group and was accompanied quickly. Food was very good and well prepared. Recommend the Brussels with pork belly as a side. Great beer selection including both locals and non-local craft options. Service was above average for a large table.

We wandered up and down Main Street past several bustling restaurants but nothing felt right. Open Table showed Bistro 301 had available space for our party of 4 so we followed the directions two blocks off Main. Great find! No waiting for an outdoor table. Fabulous server, Connor, was friendly and helpful without hovering. He made sure our birthday girls... More

The food was definitely good. We started the clams with fries, which even a small portion was more than enough for two. They were very good, but I wish the ingredient list would have listed the fact that it had onions as my date is allergic. For the main course we had the scallops on a pork belly (really just... The hotel recommended this spot for good food and drinks at a reasonable price. We didn't have reservations but they made room for us. Our waitress was great and The Diablo hit the spot!! I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

We walked in off the street after strolling from our nearby hotel. No wait on this holiday evening. Very engaging server and delightful setting. Enjoyed both of our meals. Wonderful rich onion soup and a wedge salad for starters. Unlike another review here, I really enjoyed the crab cakes. While they had a rather hard fried crust, there was lots... More

I wanted something with a local flavor and this was it! Easy walk to the convention center and Marriott Hotel. I had the Shrimp and Grits - yummy!

Atlan early dinner here last week while staying downtown for a convention. Was with 2 friends and we all had different entrées. We started with calamari and it was delicious. They have 2 sizes and we got the small one since we were also getting dinner. I had shrimp and grits. Very good, nice spices. My friends ordered fried chicken... More
