Can you say delicious!

This is definitely a neighborhood gem! If you go go on a weeknight when the local Irish are enjoying the food and drink. The food is exceptional, a full bar and super helpful wait staff. Normally the owner is there and walks around checking on people. A definite must go if your visiting!

Great pub food - wonderful service - and a really nice selection of whiskys! Our server was able to make some great recommendations on the food (and the whisky) - the atmosphere (at just after the lunch rush) was relaxed and enjoyable, the food was served quickly and our order was accurate (and the food was just what we were... As close as you can get to an Irish Pub in the Louisville. We tried several different appetizers and they were all outstanding. Get there early as parking is limited and the place fills up quickly.

Extraordinary atmosphere, food, drink, desserts and service. Wonderful neighborhood. Highly recommend. Great for special occasions and simple get-togethers.

Looking for great food? You won't find it here. What you will find is solid pub fare. Filling. Fried. Abundant. But nothing particularly special. Our waitress brought our drinks and never returned. Spouse hD to flag her down at the bar to,order an appetizer. Much, much layer, an Irish bloke who appeared to be the owner was asked to send... More

We had a large group including a handicapped diner. We were seated quickly and served promptly. The food was tasty and the staff friendly. We will be back!

I can't say enough good things about The Irish Rover, and Kentucky is lucky to have it. A group of friends and I went for Boxing Day 2014. I made my reservations a month ago,and I actually forgot when I had made them! We showed up late, and even though they were busy, and it was totally my fault, they got us in.... More

I don't think this review will matter much and don't expect a reply from management because I just don't think they care. I had dinner tonight with my wife, son, and a good friend. The bread while good was served with near frozen butter ( let's wise up folks and keep butter at room temp). The food was very good... More
