Not your everyday food. The food is excellent and the service is friendly. If you're not into an adventure ask for a fork.

Wonderful place, great food, especially the tilapia. Spicy, served on a large plate to share, forks available on request, but use the roll of Ethiopian bread!

Ethiopian food is special. It has interesting spices but not spicy. The injera bread adds a touch of taste to everything you eat. A health and balanced meal is easy to get. Strongly recommend.

Not super fancy but excellent food and service. My wife and I shared an appetizer with spinach and cottage cheese that was very good. Then we shared a vegetarian sampler for two which was also delicious. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The prices seem very reasonable. We are in Louisville for a short vacation but hope to get back... More

What can I say, I have only lived in Louisville for about 1 year, but this is still my favorite restaurant in town so far. Amazing lamb and veggie dishes and a friendly service. Although the facility might be nicer, the food easily gets my 5 stars.

I'm a fan of this restaurant..!! :) The food is good..! Awesome! I love their vegetarian dishes.. Injera, lentils n their veg soup is good.. Sambusa is similar to Indian Samosas.. :) Took me by surprise! We eat d same veg dishes every-time, never disappoints us. I recommend it to people who would love to try a different veg dish..... My first visit to the Queen was for a college class final. I was very reluctant to go because I had never stepped outside the "American food" box. So glad I went. The Queen of Sheba will not disappoint. The food is fresh and the taste is out of this world, literally! You can really tell it's not a chain... More

This gem is located across from Bowman Field ( the local airport that personal planes fly in and out of). As we entered on a very busy night, we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman. The lighting is difficult to read the menu, bring a flashlight. If you are a vegetarian, there are quite a few choices. Actually, I... More

The outside is a little deceiving; the restaurant looks like it might have been a Dairy Queen at some point in the past, but as soon as I stepped inside, it was like being in east Africa. I spent the better part of a year in east Africa, and the smell of the spices, etc. was definitely authentic. My wife... More

I first brought my mom here about 8 years ago, when it was in a different location, and my whole family has agreed that it is our default restaurant. If you've never had Ethiopian food before, you must try it at some point, and Queen of Sheba is one of the best places I've had it. (I dare say it... More
