Good food and service

We experienced great service and the food is good and moderately priced. Each entree comes with two sides which means you get a large amount of food. I eat here at least once a month (sometimes twice) - the food is consistently delicious and the service is good as well. The do not serve alcohol and we used to be able to bring our own wine. However, that's not allowed anymore. Nevertheless - the food is fantastic!

Sorry, this place is sliding into oblivion. Revisited after nearly a year and the changes were extremely disappointing. This used to be such a go to place just a couple of years ago. Greek salad had a sliver of fruit and one olive. Dressing was not Greek. There was no cauliflower in the in the side dish marked as cauliflower and... More

My family enjoyed a wonderful meal here! We started with grapes leaves and humus, both of which were delicious! The meal was also wonderful. Our server was attentive and personable. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but it was worth it!

We had a large party on Saturday night here; some of the best food we have had in ages! Simply divine! I had the Balsamic Chicken with green beans, which was out of this world. Plentiful portions, and excellent service! Not that it impacted us, but it is no alcohol, BYOB, restaurant.

Had my first visit to the Grape Leaf for lunch with friends today and was very impressed. I ordered the chicken kabobs with grilled tomatoes and honey mustard sauce on the side. It came with one side and paired very well with the pearl cous cous with vegetables that I selected. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was cozy... More

Their hummus is to die for. They serve it with the best pita I've ever had. The pita bread is so soft, unlike any where else. Also there is a finely minced garnish that has a spicy kick. So good! I love the Vegetarian platter even though I am a meat eater. The Greek Salad is outstanding as well. Very... More

We get the black beans, tomatoes, avocado, and romaine in a flour tortilla with brown rice and parsley as a side. Actually what we like best about this restaurant is the chef coming out to talk to us about what our options are for a meal. He does it in such a kind and considerate way it adds to the... More

For years the Grape Leaf has been one of my favorite restaurants in Louisville. If you are looking for good, fresh, consistent Greek/Mediterranean food this is a great choice. The service is always friendly and personable. Although the place could use a nice coat of paint it doesn't takeaway from the great food.

I was happy to see the cosmetic redesign of the Grape Leaf menu as the old one was like holding a copy of War and Peace. Unfortunately the changes didn't end there. The menu itself was different. Hamburgers were on the menu and the koshari that was so good was now unavailable. Most disappointing was the disappearance of the fruit... More
