Best Steak House in Town!

Jeff Ruby's has the BEST Jumbo Crab Cakes. After that you must have the Long-Bone Ribeye along with the Creamed Spinach. You will Love it. I enjoyed everything and I'm very hard to please. The service was top notch. Great to go while your in Louisville for the Kentucky Derby!

Amazing beyond words!!!! It's a bit pricey, but well worth the money. The atmosphere is truly remarkable. The service was above exceptional.

Outstanding steaks, great atmosphere and service. The restaurant has a number of antique chandeliers which are really neat. I was there on a Friday night with two other couples and the place was hopping with a live band. This was my first visit, but I will return

It didn't suit my personal tastes for a fine steak and was priced high on the scale. I didn't dislike dinner but likely wouldn't eat here again.

As is the case in most steakhouses, you will pay quite a bit to eat here. Unlike many steakhouses, the atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food was cooked to perfection. I generally avoid most steakhouses as I rarely get a steak cooked to my specifications. Jeff Ruby's chef knows how to cook a... More

this place is expensive, crowded, noisey -steaks are good- but business people populate the restaurant -hope you have the desire to dine at a more local, intimate, reasonable kind of restaurant

My husband and I had a delicious dinner here on Tuesday night. The place was packed so I'm glad we had a reservation from searching opentable for a steakhouse. Service was good and we started with wine and bourbon. We didn't order from the raw bar but everything we saw go by us looked great. Ceasar salad and Fred's salad... More

A classy, very upscale steakhouse...and they deliver. When you want the very best in food, drink and service in Louisville this is the place to go. I was solo so ate at the bar. Had a delightful meal and as I was well into the entree the manager, Jeff's son, Dillon, came to inquire if everything was the way I... More

First of all the server, Wes, was excellent. The epitome of professionalism. The beet salad was as he stated excellent. The fillets were high-grade beef prepared perfectly. The broccoli was superb. The desserts were excellent. Five stars except for the rather aloof maître d' and the bar noise which filters into the restaurant.
