My Fiance and I ate here for our 4 Year Anniversary dinner. It was our first time eating here and we loved it! Great location, great service, and great food! Highly recommend!

The restaurant is conveniently located a couple of blocks away from the Kentucky Convention Center, the Hyatt, the Marriott and a host of other downtown hotels in Louisville. Jeff Ruby's has a great unique atmosphere and was packed on a recent weeknight. Our group used one of the restaurant's private dining rooms for a dinner meeting. The space was perfect... More

A girl outing for the show. Reservations at 5:15. Seated at 5:25 or so. Service seemed very amateur for this restaurant. Meals delivered to incorrect diner and one entree forgotten. It was brought about 20 minutes later. That entree was comped, as it should have been. Food is always excellent, but extremely pricey. As statec earlier, service issues was first... More

I travelled from the UK to Louisville to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. Wes, our waiter, could not have been more accomodating. From word go, he personalised it all for the birthday girl. Beginning with an invitation for her to have "her first cocktail ... haha, of course you're Briddish, so no doubt you've been drinking for years...". Outstanding steaks,... More

Jeff Ruby's has the BEST Jumbo Crab Cakes. After that you must have the Long-Bone Ribeye along with the Creamed Spinach. You will Love it. I enjoyed everything and I'm very hard to please. The service was top notch. Great to go while your in Louisville for the Kentucky Derby!

Outstanding steaks, great atmosphere and service. The restaurant has a number of antique chandeliers which are really neat. I was there on a Friday night with two other couples and the place was hopping with a live band. This was my first visit, but I will return

It didn't suit my personal tastes for a fine steak and was priced high on the scale. I didn't dislike dinner but likely wouldn't eat here again.
