Had dinner with my wife Friday night prior to the "Thunder over Louisville" weekend celebration on Saturday. The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. Ruby's consistently has the best steaks anywhere! This is a great restaurant with a great location convenient to several entertainment and athletic venues in Louisville. If you are visiting Louisville you won't be disappointed... More

Stopped in for a date night with the wife, Funny story, I had actually made reservations at Jack Fry's but somehow, in my hectic day to day life, managed to get the 2 confused. No worries, the bar is first come first serve, so we got a seat relatively quick. I ordered the crab bisque, which was wonderful, along with... More

Visited the Louisville location for the first time tonight, but have dined at Jeff Ruby's in Cincy quite often. Service was wonderful, thanks Brian and Grant for taking such great care. Duck Ravioli to start was delicious, a hint of truffle oil with a mix of mushrooms and crispy ravioli. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, seared to perfection and incredibly... More

I went to Jeff Ruby's and was just blown away by the quality of service and the quality of the food! We had great cocktails, oysters from both east and west coast that were fabulous. My date and I split an entree...a great tasting filet mignon with lobster mashed potatos....OMG, was everything sinfully good!

My favorite place in town to eat to impress.... When I'm not paying. Superb food, beautiful setting... Great piano bar. It's just... Dang expensive. If I'm paying?? I like a fee other places better. But, if you want THE BEST?? This is it.

We love Jeff Ruby's steaks, creamy Mac n cheese and delicious bread! It's a little expensive but well worth it for a special occasion.
