We ended a day on the Bourbon Trail with a nice dinner at Bourbon's Bistro. I liked the ambiance of the place. Enter into the brick walled bar area to get to the dining area. We had reservations for four on a Sat. evening and were greeting right away. This is an older building and the heating/ air conditioning comes... More

This is my second visit to Bourbon’s Bistro in Louisville. My first was so awesome, we had to come back. With over 123 bourbon's on the menu, it's easy to get overwhelmed. Luckily, there are flights! The Single Barrel flight choice included 3 of 5, my date chose the Wheated Bourbon Flight. I recommend a flight, then narrow it down... More

This was my first overnight visit to Louisville and to Bourbon's Bistro. I was pleasantly surprised to walk in and find a small, inviting restaurant/bar with that neighborhood-hot-spot vibe. The place feels like it's been around a while: well-established with a cozy ambiance. Before dinner, I was excited to try a "beginners" flight of bourbon samples. Three bourbons were chosen... More

A fun place with busy atmosphere. Great for groups. Prices reasonable and if you like to try different bourbons this is the place. You can create your own flights. Had the petite steak and it was really good. All on group enjoyed. Good service but loud as they got busy.

We went to Bourbon’s Bistro as a group of 8 on a Saturday night. The restaurant was small but intimate with dimmed lights and nice portraits on the walls. Our server was Omar; I can’t speak enough about how awesome and personalized the service was. The menu was limited but had something for everyone. The variety of and list of... More

My daughter took me, her Mom and her boyfriend for brunch on Father's Day. The dining space is intimate and it specializes in bourbon based drinks and other interesting cocktails. I had a maple bourbon based drink, the rest of the party has Mimosas, bloody mary and a Lilly which is a bourbon cocktail. The brunch offered an excellent group... More

Not real fancy and definitely a bistro. My wife had the spicy fried oysters appetizer that she said was delicious. She then tried the grilled blackened shrimp which she said tasted neither blackened nor grilled. I had the beet salad which was very good and the duck con fete which I was told was browned before serving but didn't seem... More

Who knew you could pair peppercorn crusted filet with mushroom bread pudding and herb infused ricotta cheese? Awesome. Also had a very nice meat/cheese platter as an appetizer. As you might guess by the name, they have many bourbons (over 100). They also serve bourbon barrel beers and Coke products. Server was extremely helpful without being bothersome.

So wonderful to find a restaurant that has not gone the way of the "elevated SoutherN" trend. Duck confit and soy braised short ribs were excellent, lobster bruschetta had my husbands eyes rolling back in his head in pleasure. Service friendly but not hovering, lovely room.
