This is great restaurant, particularly for the basics when you really want them: steak, mashed potatoes, good veg. We found this place after a stop on the Frankfort Ave trolley hop. Wow!! This place is awesome. We started out with the Goat cheese appetizer. It is cooked in a cast iron skillet. This is a must try. We also had the Salmon with Parmesan Grits. And of course since it is a Bourbon Bar we had to try... More

My husband and I had a date here, and a week later, we're still talking about it. Obviously, the bourbon is a big draw. We started out with Manhattens, had a glass of Malbec with our meal, then he had a shot of Pappy's and I had a flight. The options seem overwhelming, but the option of flights is a... More

My husband and I had New Year's Eve dinner at Bourbon's Bistro. They had a special menu, as many places do on NYE, and I was a little concerned not knowing what to expect. I needn't have worried, having been there before I should have known that everything would be delicious. It's a relatively small space, but very open and... More

For a fine dining experience in the Louisville area, this restaurant is one worth paying a visit. Located not far from downtown in one of the city's many eclectic neighborhoods that offer other places to eat, drink and be merry along with shopping for things like fine art, antiques, jewelry and many other fine things---this restaurant like many in Louisville... We ended a day on the Bourbon Trail with a nice dinner at Bourbon's Bistro. I liked the ambiance of the place. Enter into the brick walled bar area to get to the dining area. We had reservations for four on a Sat. evening and were greeting right away. This is an older building and the heating/ air conditioning comes... More

This is my second visit to Bourbon’s Bistro in Louisville. My first was so awesome, we had to come back. With over 123 bourbon's on the menu, it's easy to get overwhelmed. Luckily, there are flights! The Single Barrel flight choice included 3 of 5, my date chose the Wheated Bourbon Flight. I recommend a flight, then narrow it down... More

This was my first overnight visit to Louisville and to Bourbon's Bistro. I was pleasantly surprised to walk in and find a small, inviting restaurant/bar with that neighborhood-hot-spot vibe. The place feels like it's been around a while: well-established with a cozy ambiance. Before dinner, I was excited to try a "beginners" flight of bourbon samples. Three bourbons were chosen... More

A fun place with busy atmosphere. Great for groups. Prices reasonable and if you like to try different bourbons this is the place. You can create your own flights. Had the petite steak and it was really good. All on group enjoyed. Good service but loud as they got busy.
