I took my wife to lunch at Simply Thai after a doctors appointment on 7/22/14. We were seated on the south side of the restaurant at table b2-1. Our server Katie was very nice and took our order promptly. We had a chicken spring roll for an appetizer which was good. During the main course (green curry chicken and chicken... More

First time visit but expectations met! Mary was our server and did well while also giving us a bit of her infectious smile. I managed a Maasaman Curry and it was no problem for them to substitute the rice for noodles. A chilled green tea did me wonders! As a heat lover, I would suggest ordering the level 5 spice.... More

The food at Simply Thai is always good. Unfortunately, the service has not been so great our last two visits.

Absolutely fantastic food. The taste is amazing. We had the pineapple fried rice and the Thai tea is to die for! Must eat here again!

My go to place in Louisville (St. Matthews or Middletown) for green curry. Great flavor combination without being too heavy in coconut milk. Wish they would add egg plant to the base dish but they have always done it when I remember to ask. Best with shrimp or fish.

A simple, yet elegant atmosphere. Fantastic pad Thai. Just the right amount of spice (I got 3 out of 5, very spicy). Attentive service. Our waiter was very good. Every time I come to Louisville I go out of my way to eat here. Highly recommend!

My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at Simply Thai in the St. Matthews area of Louisville. The staff was friendly and helpful (though a little slow at times but I suspect that was because our waitress was new) and the ambiance was what you would traditionally expect from a Thai restaurant, though definitely not as cheesy as some.... The place looks nice the good tasted like frozen Thai from the grocery. The Thai tea tasted old. If I had never tried Thai before today I would be convinced to not try again after eating here.

We began eating at this place when it was in the little hole in the wall across the street. The place has definitely improved since they moved--the gold interior and decorations provide a romantic mood and a nice place to eat. They offer a diverse menu and are very good at accommodating various level of spices. There is also ample... More

I'm a spoiled New Yorker so I figured that I would be disappointed having Thai in Louisville. I was pleasantly surprised. I had the papaya salad (not on the menu) which was good (had tomatoes in it which I never saw before in a papaya salad), green curry was good as was the mango salmon which was very good.
