The Curries are the Stars Here

My favorite thai restaurant in Louisville. I actually am not a fan of their pad thai, but am in love with all of their curries. The massaman and pineapple are both some of the best I've ever had. Their thom kha soup and pineapple fried rice is delicious, as well. Service is pretty hit or miss... read more

Atmosphere is casual...no frills, but a good dining experience. The menu has a good amount of variety and the portion sizes are large...you could split an entree.

I have never in my life left a bad review nor vowed to never return to a restaurant. Until last night. While ordering my child a fried rice kids meal I asked what the price difference would be to add shrimp. As I couldn't locate it on the menu only their website earlier that day all I remembered was $5.... More

I'm terrible with the names of the food, but everything was great, there were 5 different dishes with our group. They were reliable on how hot dishes were to what they said they would be. The fresh spring rolls were a nice touch.

First visit for dinner, very casual and kid friendly. Tom Yum soup was good but they have no soup spoons! Massaman with beef had good sauce but potatoes were not cooked and the beef was over cooked to the point it could not be chewed. Satay chicken was dry. Not a good value at $42.00 for two with only water.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Louisville. We have never been disappointed by the food or service! My husband lived in Thailand for a number of years and he is always impressed by how authentic the food tastes. If the mango sticky rice is in season, make sure you save room for dessert and get it!

Every so often, my husband & I will list our Top 5 restaurants in Louisville. Simply Thai is always on both of our lists. Like any Thai restaurant, there are numerous vegetarian options on the menu, and you can get brown rice instead of white for a small upcharge. We have seen the servers accommodate a large party (17!), a... More

The Pad Tai is absolutely amazing! This is the only Thai food place I recommend if you want a great experience and a good amount of food for the price. I have tried other places, but nothing compares. If you want genuine, delicious Thai food, this is the place to go.

A friend and I wanted lunch in the neighborhood and decided on Simply Thai. I became immediately hungry upon entering because I smelled the wonderful aromas of Thai food. We had the basil curry fried rice, which came with baby eggplant slices. We were not disappointed. I eat here at least monthly and have never had a bad meal. Sometimes... More

I have been a Simply Thai customer for over 5 years. For the most part, the food is good. Last night, I stopped by to order carry-out. They didn't seem busy but told me it would be 30 minutes. I was shocked but since I didn't have any wine at home, I thought I would pass the time in the... More
