A simple, yet elegant atmosphere. Fantastic pad Thai. Just the right amount of spice (I got 3 out of 5, very spicy). Attentive service. Our waiter was very good. Every time I come to Louisville I go out of my way to eat here. Highly recommend!

My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at Simply Thai in the St. Matthews area of Louisville. The staff was friendly and helpful (though a little slow at times but I suspect that was because our waitress was new) and the ambiance was what you would traditionally expect from a Thai restaurant, though definitely not as cheesy as some.... The place looks nice the good tasted like frozen Thai from the grocery. The Thai tea tasted old. If I had never tried Thai before today I would be convinced to not try again after eating here.

We began eating at this place when it was in the little hole in the wall across the street. The place has definitely improved since they moved--the gold interior and decorations provide a romantic mood and a nice place to eat. They offer a diverse menu and are very good at accommodating various level of spices. There is also ample... More

I'm a spoiled New Yorker so I figured that I would be disappointed having Thai in Louisville. I was pleasantly surprised. I had the papaya salad (not on the menu) which was good (had tomatoes in it which I never saw before in a papaya salad), green curry was good as was the mango salmon which was very good.

The place is very nice, the food was great. The dishes are great. However, the owner can afford turning on the AC to make the customers more comfortable. Still, this is a place to visit and enjoy the great food.

Pleasant delicious dining experience. Dinner for 3 including 2 drinks and tip = $75...a little pricey.

Ate here our first night in Lville. Edamame dumplings were incredible and also had soft tofu rolls (not the best I've had but still tasty). Had the sweet potato noodle dish (similar to mung bean noodles) with tofu. The tofu was different from what I normally eat but still good. Service was good and I am sure we will be... More

For my daughter's 15th birthday, we celebrated by taking her and a family friend to Simply Thai. We were not disappointed. Since we had reservations, there was no wait. A small, smiling waitress promptly took our drink orders. When she returned with our drinks, we ordered some delicious appetizers: tempura platter, Yum Yum roll, and sushi. The servings of the... Simply Thai in St Matthews has fabulous Thai food. Plenty of room and wonderful dishes to choose from. The vegetable spring rolls are so crisp and fresh. Yummy sauce for dipping. We ordered two Pad Thai dishes and one green curry dish. Three of us shared the flavors. We loved them all. Prices are very affordable and friendly service.
