A little expensive, but very good

After a long day at a swim meet, my team and I decided to stop by the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner. The portions are a little bit small for what you pay for, but very tasty.

This downtown Luoisville tradition has good pasta and yummy, yummy bread. The inside is interesting and lively, outside you can catch a ride on a horse and carriage. Positioned centrally in the middle,of town, close to Yum Center and river activities. Great place for kids, there is a train to play in. Tip: seriously...order bread!

The Old Spaghetti Factory is located in downtown Louisville close to then Yum Center and the Convention Center. It is a popular place to eat before events and after earlier ones. The atmosphere is pleasant with a pseudo trolly car. The wait staff is congenial. Then there is the food. The salad bar is adequate mainstream American. The pasta entrees... More

I had only been to one other location before, in Dayton, Ohio(now closed) when I was a little girl, and absolutely loved it. A REAL trolley car INSIDE the restaurant? Awesome!!! My memories, however, were not enough to sustain my current experience. Reservations are recommended, however, especially if there's a game or concert that night and you're from out of... More

Located in an historic location in downtown Louisville nearby all the arts centers and the International Convention Center, this well known restaurant is a great standby or destination location for good dining - couples, friends, or families. While the waits can be long, depending upon what is going on in the downtown area, they do offer phone ahead reservations to... More

I really love the Old Spaghetti Factory. The beautiful historic building makes me happy. The prices are good and you get a lot of food... salad, bread, desert, plus your entrée. You can even take a horse and carriage ride. I know, it's just spaghetti, but I love it. I've never tried any of the other dishes, but my husband... More

Decent food, wonderful atmosphere. Staff pleasant and helpful. Good location for large parties and families. Excellent choice if you're going to see a game at the Yum Center. Not a destination restaurant, but a good option if you're in downtown Louisville.

This chain restaurant often locates in old buildings. This one is in the old Levy Bros Clothing House and dates from 1893. The Italian fare is just so so, but the price is reasonable and all meals includes soup or salad and a small cup of spumoni ice cream for dessert. The restaurant stays extremely busy so you might consider... More

The Old Spaghetti Factory has so many good qualities...the service is great, the staff is friendly, prices are reasonable, the historical building is so beautiful and just oozes Southern charm, and the location is great too. Weekend evenings, there were two horse-and-carriages lined up outside the huge brass doors. Awesome atmosphere and anticipation. But you go to a restaurant why?... More
