We happened by this restaurant by accident. A small café we were going to try was closed and this was within walking distance. The weather was frigid and we were hungry so we gave it a shot although we were not looking to eat heavy that night. We were greeted by friendly staff, directed to a table, and service was... More

I love this restaurant. Service is great. The food is so full of flavor. They do this special occasion dessert 'apple' made from sugar. You break it open with your spoon and cake and fruit falls out. Valet parking too. Great wine selection too. Just great meals every time we go.

This restaurant was perfect for our anniversary dinner. We got an early table and enjoyed the quiet early in the evening. The service was wonderful - including the free valet parking and the heated alcove near the front door. Staff was attentive and professional in every way. We enjoyed the scallops appetizer - remarkable! The sea bass and salmon dinner... More

We were with a great group. The service was friendly. They had three specials, including salmon, sea-bass and pulled beef. I had the third special, which was delicious. Everybody in the group was raving about the food. The waitress was attentive. They gave us the time to have our drink and discuss the menu. It was a great experience. I... More

We went to hear the entertainment (which was great! Female vocalist and pianist) and discovered delicious entrees. My husband's steak was well cooked and seasoned while I enjoyed one of the chef's specials, Sea Bass in a lemon cream sauce. The fish was perfectly cooked and nestled on fingerling potatoes with steamed fresh spinach as a side. Well worth the... More

Enjoyed dinner in this restaurant last night. We were a group of six. The service was excellent... even when a glass of red wine was spilled and the entire table was cleaned and re-set (while we waited at the bar!) The food was excellent. The special was flank steak sous vide and the portion was large enough for my boyfriend... More

Fine dinning, a bit pricey, great fillet steaks. Didn't have reservations but was seated immediately, service was prompt. Would go there again.

Friendly & knowledgeable staff who know the menu & the extensive wine list very well. Food was exceptional! Loved the carpaccio & the veal. The best roasted garlic ever - so good & served with thin slices of bread, fun evening to celebrate best friends birthday. Quick cab ride from downtown. Don't miss this restaurant.

We had not been to Volare in a while and decided to go there for our anniversary. I forgot how good it was! I am a "veal snob", rarely finding any veal dishes I truly enjoy. Our waiter said they had the best veal in town, and he was right. Great dinner and way above average service.

There are 3 dining areas: the bar with piano and singer, the main dining area and the outdoor porch. We were seated in the main dining room and enjoyed the music and the female singer. The overall ambiance was great. The restaurant was noisy at 7:30, as most seem to be these days without carpet and drapes to absorb sound.... More
