Quite nice

I give Volare extra points for their descriptive menu, which meant choosing my meal wasn't a stressful prelude to dining. The wine selection is extensive and pricey; suggest checking out the 1/2 price bottle special on Wednesdays. I ordered lemon chicken. The sauce was exquisitely delicate... read more

We ate in the bar and at 5:30. It took 4 people start us. We were able to get one drink and bread, but the butter and my drink just couldn't get there. Our waiter arrived after 20 minutes. The marinated garlic in virgin olive oil was really good. My husband had a caesar salad which he felt was typical.... More

We eat at Volare every time we visit Louisville. The food is always excellent! This meal was no exception. We split the Wedge Salad, and even half of it is a large portion. It was delicious. My favorite, the Filetto di Salmone, was divine and cooked perfectly, as usual. The White Chocolate Amaretto Creme Brûlée was wonderful. My husband had... More

My fiancé took me here for a romantic night out and boy was this place amazing! Very romantic atmosphere with dim lighting. Our server was beyond expectation. He was very knowledgeable and professional. We never had to ask for anything because he was on top of everything! Our food was top notch. I ordered the Pollo Parmigiana and it was... More

I would have to say I've been to Jack Fry, worked and have eaten at Rye, been to Ward 429. But by far this place is the best establishment in Louisville, Kentucky as far as fine dining goes!! The service was outstanding, the food was top notch. I can't say enough great things.being a professional chef I always am my... More

Volare is simply one of the very best restaurants in Louisville. My wife and I had one of the best meals we've ever eaten on Saturday night. We started with appetizers that were both amazing. My wife had the Fried Green Tomatoes with Crab. The tomatoes, from the chefs farm, were perfectly cooked and they had Jumbo Lump Crab meat.... More

This restaurant has great food, especially the Sea Bass. But it is overpriced - not sure if we'll go back is not. Maybe a special occasion.

To us, Volare's restaurant is a favorite place to celebrate special occasions, confirmed by this week's dining experience. Though we mentioned the birthday to just one employee, by the time the server and 2 or 3 other staff got to our table, each one referred to the birthday. Both of us chose a veal (vitello) entree: he had Parmagian with... More

First off I'd like to start with the fact that some of the things in this review aren't directly anyones fault. This is simply an overall review of our experience. We visited here on May 30th (a Saturday). We booked reservations through OpenTable.com (I've often wondered if those who book through such sites pay for it in other ways) for... More

Volare is a Louisville must. The service is amazing. Tarak Hammad makes the place one of the most inviting restaurant's in the city. The staff will go over and above to take care of your desires from making your dish (Sea Bass) exactly the way you want (Puntanesca Style) even if it's not on the menu. During the Summer months...
