The food was fantastic, the service was outstanding. Chef Josh came out and asked how the meal was. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a great meal.

Great Italian-focused restaurant in a residential area - reminds of restaurants in Chicago suburb areas. Excellent ambience - very nice but not overbearing. Excellent service by staff and great menu. Food was great! This was an anniversary dinner for us and we wanted some place special. Volare definitely provided this. Rate 5 Star all around!

This is an upscale Italian restaurant located on the hip Frankfort Ave just outside of downtown Louisville. We were there for an ironman race so were dressed very casual and decided to give this restaurant a try. The restaurant has great atmosphere and is an ideal place for a date. We ordered a scallop appetizer and the waitress plated our... More

Wanted to take family out to nice Italian and chose based on reviews. Definitely not great food. Expensive everything al a carte ...Cesar salad really mediocre... And pasta good but did not knock my socks off for 26 dollars. Would not go back

10 of us enjoyed a nice dinner here...everyone loved their meal and the server (sorry I didn't get her name, blonde and pretty) was well versed on the menu and wine list. She was personable, attentive and good at her job. We started at the bar and the bartenders made sure everyone was served quickly and martins made with perfection.... More

This is one of the best places I have ever been to from here to Italy. The wonder of food magic is brought to life in the hands of the chef of Volare. The tomato salad is seasonal but my wife's idea of heaven on earth. Also happy 10th birthday,we hope you last for many more.

Great dining experience. Sat outside on a beautiful evening and had great service by an attentive waiter. While it was a full restaurant, the noise was not overwhelming. We were and party of four and everyone enjoyed their dinner. The price was a bit high, but everyone is anymore. I do think for the portions the price was a bit... More

We were seated on the porch and were able to see spectacular fireworks from two locations. The duck was done to perfection and was juicy and tender. The chicken was good but took second place. Salad was fresh. Owner has his own garden and the vegetables taste it. The other reviews talked about the porch being loud and it can... More

My husband took me to Volare on our 12 year anniversary, we had reservations at a restaurant down the street but seen Volare and thought it looked like a nice place so we canceled at the other place. Upon arrival we asked to be seated somewhere romantic, we were seated on the "balcony" beside a party of 7 so needless... More

Excellent food at all courses. Great appetizers, novel dinners, fine desserts. Pricing is higher than many restaurants but is worth it. Fresh food with great presentation. Service is average and ambient sound level is rather loud. I had speak up more than I cared to. I will go back for sure but ask to be seated away from bar.
