Great for grownup time

I love Molly Malone's for the authentic pub grub and Irish atmosphere. The staff is attentive but not hovering. On good weather days sit out front and people watch on Bardstown Road. Fish & chips a highlight.

Was told to go to the Highlands area and all the restaurants were awesome, not so much. We had plans to go to several other places but it was lunch time and several were not open or were 21 and over only. So we settled on Molly Malone's and I knew it was a mistake almost immediately and should have... More

We all love this place and highly recommend it. I had lamb meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. My daughter-in-law had a lamb shank. My wife had a chicken sandwich. Daughter-in-law had carrot cake. I had homemade brownie with ice cream. Everything had a true Irish flavor, and I am looking forward to returning, preferably on a Friday night... More

We went to Molly Malone's Irish Pub in order to attend a trivia. First the good. The Trivia was great, in spite of shortcomings we will go back. The service was great. We were waited on a young gentleman there from Ireland for the summer and he was great. Not only was he great, but every server who got within... More

Each time we visit the Louisville I try to drop in to Molly Malone's. My husband and I have yet to have their Scottish Eggs disappoint. Simply put they are fabulous. I am also a fan of the Bangers & Mash, as well as the Shepherds Pie. The staff is usually attentive, and willing to make anything not to your... More

My business associate and I were there on a Monday evening in March. Weather outside (my opinion) was a tad too cold to sit outside so we ate at a small table in the bar area. Service: It took forever for someone to finally greet us and when she did - her question was.... has anyone been over to take... More

Great atmosphere and our waitress was amazing! She was extremely helpful and gave us awesome menu advise. Will definitely be going back our next trip to Louisville.

It was a beautiful evening, my husband and I enjoyed eating outside. My husband had fish and chips and he enjoyed his meal. I ordered Shepard pie and macaroni and cheese. The Shepard pie was good, but I really enjoyed the mac and cheese. We had a nice evening.
