Delicious food in a great, intimate atmosphere. The beef filet was amazing. Service was perfect. One of Louisville's best!

I would have given a 5 star rating if they wouldn't have sat us next to the old door that had a horrible cold draft. We had to ask to be moved. They didn't notice that we had switched spots at the table and were bundled in our jackets. It was freezing!! Once we moved to a table away from... More

If high prices scare you off, then this isn't the place for you. If great food and service is what you want, then this is the place to go. It is a cozy little restaurant that would be easy to drive past and not notice. The service and food are both excellent! My filet was cooked to perfection and my... More

Beginning with a perfectly mixed margarita, dinner at Jack Fry's was close to perfection. The server's work as a team rather than having individual fiefs and this creates great service. The shrimp and grits are amazingly flavorful and succulent. The beet salad was amazing with huge chunks of tasty beets complimented by tangy goat cheese in a piquant dressing. Opting... More

Great business lunch there last week. The only disappointment was the fact that they do not serve sweet tea! Who in the south does not serve sweet tea?🍋

This a great restaurant. A classic in Louisville. Has been great for years- consistently good food. I have often been there for lunch or dinner. A fun atmosphere- I feel more like I am in NY city than Louisville when I am there.

Chances are you will need to make reservations well in advance, but it is worth the pre- planning. You will probably drive right past this place the first time you go, nothing flashy or "trendy" but it will be one of your favorites. I love a table " in the front", order a Martini. It is a bit like stepping... More

The restaurant is always crowded, but that is because the food is so good. The food is always fresh and tasty. I have been several times and always enjoy going back.

The shrimp and grits were delicious. I never order pork, but I was tempted by the reviews. It was superb. Fantastic crust and moist and tender. I ordered it medium well. But, the potato hash was so salty that I couldn't eat it. My husband order the steak. He said it's ruined him for all future steaks! It melted in... More

Celebrated my husband's 31st birthday here last weekend during a getaway to Louisville. Service was great! We had reservations and were sat immediately and they decorated the table for his birthday. Service was excellent and food was delicious. We had the lamb chops and the filet - cooked perfectly! Great ambiance - very old school vibe with a live piano... More
