I've gone in here several times over the years and it is always consistent. The food is amazing and the staff is very attentive and professional. The aisohere takes you back a little in time which feels comfortable and like home. Searing can be a little cramped but everyone is usually vet considerate of the tight space.

There is better food for the price in Louisville, The warm brie salad wasn't all that warm, the salmon would have been better grilled, the best thing I tasted was the spicy oyster appetizer, decent beer selection, this place has been here for decades, maybe they banking on their history and tradition rather than their food prep. service was spotty,... I loved the butternut squash soup - great flavor from the smoked paprika! My main dish was duck confit with noodles and the duck was too salty. My daughter had the salmon with a roasted red pepper sauce that was very good. My husband had lobster roll and said it was just OK. The fried fish sandwich comes on plain... More

Recommend: Shrimp & Grits House Filet Pork Chop Pistachio Ice Cream If you enjoy Jazz this is a great place to come and dine. It is located in a really neat neighborhood as well, so its great to venture out before or after dinner. I didn't have reservations and the place was packed (on a tuesday). They were nice enough... Went here for dinner after spending day in bourbon country. Quick Uber ride from our hotel downtown. Restaurant is in good location with lots of other interesting bars to visit before dinner. Atmosphere is like a speakeasy from the 1930's. He arrived 45 minutes before dinner and enjoyed a drink at the bar. Our meal was just exceptional. Between the... More

My husband and I have a regular date at Jack Fry's. It's where we celebrate the anniversary of our first date. The service is always attentive, but never obtrusive. Our meals are always top notch, and we love the cozy atmosphere. It's the perfect special occasion place.

Because it is the Best burger out there. Maybe JG Melon's in NYC will rival it, but it's different. I say don't eat the burger, because they have such other wonderful items that I haven't been able to try because I can't resist the burger. The brie salad is outstanding as well- as is the shrimp and grits and really... More
